Iris opened her black eyes and woke up. She sat up, scratching her eyes and blinded by the bright window. It was still daytime. How long have I been sleeping? Maybe not long enough. She thought and yawned. Both her parents sent her off by the King Cross station. Platform 9 3/4. She still remembered it. They said their goodbyes and had kisses and hugs of course. Iris will be arriving to her second home later. Indeed, she was excited. But it doesn't show on her face because of the farewell. She reflected her short dream and smiled at the thought of it. It was her birthday celebrated last year with her parents and muggle friends in the London-muggle world. And now, here she is, away from them on her present birthday. She missed them so much already, what more when she stayed at Hogawrts?
She kept on worrying about her muggle friends on how they would go around looking for her because they don't know everything about now. She just hoped her parents will explain them by making a perfect alibi. How are they actually? Lonely because I'm gone? She kept thinking about them while staring at the breath-taking sight by the window of the compartment fully awake.
