A Future Awaits

As Tobias said his goodbyes to his family and friends for his 2nd year at Hogwarts he boarded the train and searched for an empty compartment. He finally found one and set his belongings down and Siam his pet laid down in his lap. He could hear the sounds of other kids all around but for the one moment he was in his own world. "It starts again." he said aloud. "Another year of Magic and such." He thought what will happen this year?

Carina had been patrolling the train, looking around to find somewhere to sit. She wasn't that well liked so she avoided a fair few carriages filled with people who would love to wind her up and drive her round the bend. She disliked getting into conflict, simply because it was such a nuisance. Damian also didn't like when she was involved in a situation of conflict and his caawing in her ear told her that he recognised the people she should avoid.

She eventually happened upon a compartment with one person in it, and it didn't seem to be anyone she knew. Now there was potential. She pushed open the compartment door, just as the boy spoke.

"Every day is filled with magic. That is not what is important." Carina stated, moving into the compartment and throwing her hand luggage onto an empty seat. Damian wobbled on her shoulder before jumping onto her head. She sighed heavily and waved him away. He caawed loudly before swooping down to settle onto her hand luggage.

"May I join you?" She questioned, simply because it was polite and this boy had been here first.

"I guess," he said, "there is plenty of room here." As the girl took her seat he put his cat back into its carrier before it got any ideas with the bird. "Yes I do suppose everyday is filled with magic if you are a wizard" he said thoughtfully. "Since everyday is already filled with magic then what is important?" he asked the girl.
