Erin sighed as she sat down in an empty compartment. She knew she should be happy, since this was her first year at Hogwarts. She wondered which house she would be put in. She sighed once again and leaned back, closing her eyes.

Ever since her mom had passed away, and her dad kept leaving her with her aunt because of business trips, he hadn't even been there to see her off, she had found it difficult to keep her mood up.

"Whatever... Even if I begged him, he wouldn't be here.." She let out a small pityful laugh, before she fell silent.
