Are there really ghosts here?

The Shrieking Shack was said to be the most haunted house in London. But Silver always wondered if that were true. Haunted or not, she loved coming here. It was the sense for adventure that brought Silver here. Maybe she would run into someone else and get to see a ghost.

Natasha poked at the side of the shrieking shack and wiped her finger on the skirt of her dress. How improperly dressed I am, she thought derisively, patting down the green velvet. Silly her.

There was another girl there--no, an adult. Natasha fought the desire to wave and instead walked over, feet crunching the dead leaves under her. "Hallo," she said brightly. "I'm Natasha . . . and you are?"

Of course, she was being crass, but still-

She was starving for a friend.

Sliver turned when she heard someone's voice. "Hello Natasha, my name's Silver." She greeted. "It's very nice to meet you."

She wasn't sure what it was about the woman, but Silver instantly liked her. "What brings you here?"

"How'd you know my name?" Natasha asked, stumbling back a step. What the hell is going on? she thought. "Are you some kind of psychic person or something? Because we've never met before." Her eyes darted from side to side and she settled her hand against the shack to steady herself.

Silver looked at her in puzzlement. "I only know your name because you mentioned it to me just a moment ago. And no, I am not a psychic person. I am however, an Auror."

"Oh yeah, silly me!" Natasha said brightly. "I have short term memory sometime...it's quite strange of me." She tilted her head. "Who are you?"

"It's quite alright," Silver said with a laugh. "My name's Silver, nice to meet you."

"So, what brings you here?"
