Anger (Arsen/ Aldan)

Arsen stood looking down into the waterfall set in the middle of the courtyard. He didn't know why but he just stood there watching the water flow as he waited for aldan to turn up. He'd sent a frightened first year to tell him to meet him here after lunch the next day, so the kids wanted to hope he turned up on time. He glanced down at his watch and sighed, 5 minutes and the kid was dead.

Aldan had been lazily flipping through his Creatures book when a friend of his had come running to tell him Arsen was telling him to meet at the Clock tower. Puzzled, but remembering his new training regime, he nodded and got up.

It took him roughly 10 minutes since being told and he was nearly late to the time that Arsen had set for him to meet him there. He ran to the courtyard, nearly stumbling into Arsen.

"Hey Arsen, I'm here," Aldan said with a slight smile. He didn't really smile often, something that had become apart of him since the incident when he was seven.

He glanced at his watch again and began to count down. "10... 9... 8..." Still no sign. "7... 6..." Running footsteps, he definitely heard someone approaching in a hurry. "5!... 4!... 3!... 2!..." He counted just as Aldan sprinted up to him. "You're lucky you're just on time." He said pulling his sleeve back over his watch and letting his arm drop back down by his side.

"Right lets see what you've got." He said beckoning him forward.

Well that was a relief, Aldan thought as he realized he'd been timed. He couldn't imagine the demon's idea of punishment if he had been late. He blinked but didn't move for a second at the command and slowly thought about how best to approach Arsen.

"Right," he said in acknowledgement as he took up a position in front of Arsen and paused only slightly before throwing a punch at Arsen's midriff.

He raised his eyebrow and slapped the boy around the head for hesitating. "Hesitate and die. You don't get any second chances." He said before tapping the side of Aldans wrist as it came towards his midriff. "Pathetic." He said hitting him over the head again. "Get your head in the game." He said as she began to circle him.

He gave the boy a push sending him to the ground. "Im going to keep pushing you around so what you gonna do about it?" He asked looking down at him from a little distance.

Aldan was a bit taken aback as he got smacked in the back of his head with a swift lecture before his wrists were knocked away from the older boy's stomach. He winced as he was head slapped again but didn't say anything.

Shoved to the ground, Aldan looked up at Arsen for a second, listening to the words, before he hastily jumped to his feet and resumed his position. Not choosing to think about it and risk hesitating, Aldan lashed out with a foot headed low and his right arm aiming at Arsen's head.

He sighed and sidestepped Aldans arm, hooking it with his own so he caught the arm and locked locking it to his side which instantly mis directed his leg. "Your not going to get anywhere if you dont care. Don't just fight! Get angry! Let if fuel you, let it guide your instincts into coming out on top." He said letting the arm go and giving Aldan a little shove to distance them.

"Think of something that winds you up. Use it against me." He said taking up his fighting stance so he was ready to move within a seconds notice.

Well having your kicks and throws blocked was irritating, he thought dryly before getting another shove that pushed him from Arsen, putting in distance. He looked at Arsen, thinking about what he was saying. Aldan scarcely got angry growing up, but there were a few times.

Being so helpless when he was seven? Nah, he was afraid more than anything.

Muggles? Nah, that made him grin and he knew Arsen would kill him if he tried thinking that.

Asri-- that day he met his brother. He remembered getting so angry, thinking the man before him that day had been his parent's killer. Aldan's eyes flashed briefly and he felt his anger at the still unknown killer rise up in him. He never knew if Asric had taken care of their parents murderer yet, but the thought still filled him with rage and he used this anger to direct a handful of kicks and punches at Arsen, imagining that he was the man who killed his parents.

He sighed and took a step back. "Stop!" He ordered as he clasped his hands behind his back. "You've got to get your opponant into a position where they have no choice but to go on the defensive." He said moving closer to Aldan. "You get close enough they wont stand a chance of hitting you. You ever had a sword fight?" He asked summoning two swords from the floor by the door.

Aldan felt disappointed as Arsen told him to stop, wondering just how horrible he was doing this. He stood there, listening as Arsen explained a technique in getting an opponent up close. He cocked an eyebrow at the word sword fighting.

"I've read on it, but never had the chance to actually sword fight," Aldan said with a grimace as he looked at the sword.

He rolled his eyes. "Ravenclaws and their bloody books. Tip number one, books get you no where." He said tossing one of the swords towards Aldan. "Now people think swords are old fashioned but all good fighters learn with swords, its perfect to explain what i mean." He said positioning himself in the natural swordsman position.

"Now here we are on equal terms yes? We have the same sword and the same fighting position." He said gesturing for him to follow his stance. "With swords everyone has an equal chance of winning, strength, speed none of those are any good without skill. No if we were to swop your sword for something more appropriate for your fight against me..." He said summoning a shorter sword and tossing it over to Aldan.

He pointed his sword towards Aldans chest. "Now what do you do?" He asked.
