    "Episkey"

Aquila frowned as the bite marks didn't disappear from his hand. It was true that his ability to use the spell was very weak - he was much better at creating wounds rather than healing them - but he usually managed to make some difference.

    "Episkey"

Repeating the spell did nothing for him. He held his hand up to the light to inspect the wound closer. It was possible the the small marks looked worse rather than better. Where they more swollen?

Shrugging the boy decided that it was just his shoddy magic, and that he didn't care enough to bother someone with more skill. He wasn't really a fan of the hospital wing where such a person would be found anyways. Instead he sunk deeper into his chair and began to twirl his wand between his fingers.

Nodding his head to a beat only he could hear he began to mumble to himself, "Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts."

Oliver entered the common room with an adrenaline. He had just finished his daily work out and was in good spirits. His feelings of being angry had vanished during his job when he realized that he was much too old to be mad at his parents by moving him to America. They had good intentions, they did.

On his way back to his dormitory, he saw a fellow Ravenclaw lounging by himself. He walked over, decided it was best for him to converse with people of his house, when he heard him mumbling to himself the Hogwarts Song.

"Hope you're not going mental there," he joked as he sat across from him.

He noticed a wound on his hand and Oliver raised an eye brow, "Need help with that?"

Aquila looked up at the new comer with a smirk, "I think it may already be too late for that, but your concern and wishes shall be duely noted none the less."

He looked down at his hand as the wound was meantioned and quickly shoved the offending had away.

"Nah, Just a scratch. I'm sure I'll live."

He glanced at the boy, he had to be older. He thought he might have seen him around before, but not any time resently.

    "Aquila Turrow."

Oliver laughed at the Ravenclaw's response to his joke. At least he knew he could take jokes good naturedly.

"Alright then, don't say I didn't offer my help," Oliver shrugged.

"Oliver Penderghast," he introduced himself. "I don't we have met before though. I've been away from Hogwarts for some time now."

    "I won't," he responded easily.

"I've been at hogwarts for some time now," he said with an easy laughing smile, "Though I do believe you are right. You haven't had the pleasure of meeting me before this moment. A terrible loss for us both." He laughed at his joke.

"So if you've been away Oliver, where have you been that wasn't this humble establishment?"

"Salem's Institute for Witches," he replied with a frown. "And much to contrary belief, it is a school for men and women. Not much of a good one compared to good ol' Hogwarts, though."

"So you're a... second or third year?" Oliver then asked. "And have you been liking Hogwarts so far? I have to ask that since I wasn't able to ask you that before."

"Ahh, another school. If you don't mind me asking, why did you leave? If it wasn't as good and all that?"

Quil smiled at the question, "Second, and Hogwarts has been most enjoyable indeed."

"My father got a great job opportunity in America and thought it would be great to move us all there," Oliver shrugged. "My brother couldn't stand being away from his girlfriend so they soon got proposed and he moved back here and asked me if I'd like to join and I accepted immediately. No offence to the Wizarding schools in America but they're not that great compared to Hogwarts. Besides, Hogwarts has this feeling of being home and belonging while Salem's..." he shook his head in disappointment. "They worry more about gossip and what's trending in fashion but what do you expect when the female population has more of an advantage than than us guys."

"Hogwarts is like a second home to me," Oliver smiled. "Oh man, you're going to love being a third year. Especially because you'll get to visit Hogsmeade. It's pretty cool there."

Aquila sighed and nodded, "I love hogwarts."

He completely understood how Oliver would feel about leaving. He himself had been fending off his parents requests to go to Durmstrang instead for a year and a half. It was probably one of the only things he'd ever said no to them about.

He gave a little smirk at the mention of Hogsmeade, "The place is great... though I supposed it will be just as great when I'm there with actually school permition."

Oliver smirked at the boy's courage for sneaking into Hogsmeade, "Nice. S'ppose we've all done it once or twice but once you get the permission, you've got more of the freedom."

"So which exit did you use? The one-eyed witch passage way or another one?" He asked curiously.

Aquila nodded and leaned back in his chair.

"I did a few times. I've used others on occation as well. It really depended on where I was going and the mood I was in."
