Letter From Home

Azrali sat quietly at the Owlry in the window. Owls hooted around her but she just felt at peace here, staring out over the grounds. She was waiting for her brother's owl, Widget, to come. She watched the little black owl waver through the air towards her and land in her lap. He hooted at her and rubbed his head against her tummy. She petted him and took her letter. She read it while petting him,

Azzy,
I hope you're having fun at Hogwarts. Mum told me you got into Gryffindor! That was my house when I was still in school. Carla will tell you Ravenclaw is the best, and Antoni will say its Hufflepuff, but you know each house is built for you. There isn't a best, love.
Mom told me you were worried about the RDS, well let me tell you, you aren't the only one. The Dragon Sanctuary's master is putting up many many more wards around us.
I hope you're having fun, and I missed you guys this summer, but this winter I'm going to try to get over to Tinworth to see you and hopefully it'll be safe for you to take the train home for the break.

Az sighed and folded the letter up, shoving it into her robe pocket and pet Widget, "Go on back to Marcus, Widgy. I'll send Argos to bring him my letter." she murmured to him referring to her dog who could apparate. She gave him a little shove and he began flying off, back to Marcus.

Az stayed where she was, in the windowsill staring at the grounds. She hadn't noticed that someone came up to the Owlry, but Argos did. He let out a low growl. Az sighed and patted his haed calming him.

Isabel shivered slightly as she pushed open the door to the Owlery. It wasn't cold, not even close, but she had a feeling she might find her father's owl here. It had sent her a letter last week, and she had been successfully avoiding it, but the owl would find her, and it would attack unless she had a letter for it.
Her father wanted answers.
Nervously, Isabel walked in, and nearly jumped in surprise at seeing a blond girl sitting a few feet away. It was Azrali.
"Hey Azrali," she greeted, walking over to her friend and sitting down next to the girl and her dog.
