Lesson one- 1st years

Isobella nodded.

Continue. It's a wall. A steady wall.

She filled the spiderwebs of her mind.

Create a defence, a brick wall.

She closed her eyes and imagined an attack.

It's like it was with Henry Loule. Shut up, and don't let them know.

It would be a threat.

Erase everything. Create a memory outside of the wall.

She thought hard for something stupid.

Unicorns. Yah, leave those out.

She concentrated.

Miles glanced around at the first years, " Ok so time is up im sorry guys" Miles then began scanning the room to decided who's shield he would test first

" Ok so im going to call you up to test your shields, so the first up will be Miss Lestrange" Miles smiled at the Slytherin girl

Miles then pulled out his wand and waited for Isobella to walk up to the front of the class

Isobella walked to the center of the classroom proudly. She prepared herself for the impact.

Don't let him in. Don't let anyone know the truth.

She squeezed her eyes shut.

Fill the spiderwebs.

Isobella covered the spiderweb-like fragments of her inner mind.

Now set up the second wall.

She then set the defenses by three walls to make the attack to have to try hard.

A distration.

She set off a fake memory off out to the side of her set walls. It was a young girl riding a pony.

Now let it crack and break.

The memory was left off to look perfect and clear, but would disappear as soon as the intruder came close.

Now a final wall. Keep it steady.

She breathed out.

Clear mind. Nothing in it but defense.

She breathed in.

Now hold it steady.

She breathed out.

Never underestimate your oppenant.

Miles watched as Isobella came up to the front of the classroom, he noticed that she seemed to be deep in thought Hmm excellent to see shes taking this seriously Miles thought to himself

Isobella stood in front of him, Miles gave a small smile " Ok im going to start, and good luck" Miles then flicked his wand in Isobella's direction casting the spell allowing him to enter into her mind

he then straight away started searching for memories and thoughts, waiting to see if Isobella's shield was strong enough

Professor Bloxam was good, there was no doubt about that, but Isobella had been training herself for certain attacks like these.

They just couldn't know.

It didn't take long for the Professor to find the fake memory and become sucked back farther away from the wall when the fake memory burst into pieces. Isobella was able to regain her stance well because it was created by her, but she wasn't sure on the Professor's reaction time.

It was a game of speed in those few seconds, but Isobella picked up the pieces quick enough.

She felt him searching and prying at the wall's creavaces, trying to find a way in. He poked around all sides of the fortress, but couldn't seem to find a way in.

It was Isobella's game and she had the ambition and power to win.

Miles continued to searching and trying to push his way through the wall, Miles didn't want to push her to hard just in case, so instead he released a full ball of mental energy directly at Isobella's wall. Miles watched it amazement as his attack seemed to have little to no effect on her defences

After being pleased by Isobella's wall he decided to withdraw from her mind, he then looked at the girl and smiled " Well done Miss Lestrange the shield was rather impressive 10 points to Slytherin, you may take your seat now"

Miles then looked around the rest of the class to choose who would be next " Um... ok Miss Vector, would you like to come up now" he said with a warm smile

Nocturna Destler was in the shadow she seemed to appear within the room and she had creep quietly to take a seat listening to the man.She creep into the room quietly and she seat down with him. She lay a paper down on his desk she did not know about this class and she thought oh crap they reading people mind or trying too. Well they where trying to pop up shield of some sortie. She was new to the class and she hope she was not real late she lay the paper on desk she seat down and she hope this class was not too hard.Maybe she could do this if she put so speak within her mind something like what she read in books.

Isobella plopped down in her seat proudly. She had brought pride to the Slytherin house! She hoped to further explore her talents in class. It was thrilling.

She glanced over at the clueless Ravenclaw.

Of course... What a Firstie!

She rolled her eyes. She was beginning to rather enjoy the class.

Serenity walked in, wondering what the class will be like. The professor right now, said it was great. However, he was a different professor.

"Hello Miles." She greeted. "Sorry I am late, I got caught up doing something."

Miles looked up at the door as he saw someone enter, at first he thought it was a student but once he got a proper look he saw it was Serenity he smiled warmly as she apologised that she was late

" Oh Serenity, no thats fine it's good your here now the kids do need their proper Professor" Miles walked over to the desk and picked up his satchal, and walked back towards Serenity

" Ok, so I'll leave you to it" Miles smiled as began walking out the door

Nocturna Destler look over at the women and she had to wonder what they would be learning and the first lesson and such things. She seat down and such things and what not she look back at the women and she look over at the women.She look up at Serenity and the others and such things. She was quiet and such things and what not and she look over at the women and man and such things.
