Shaun stood beside his desk. Today he had different plans for his fourth years. Hopefully it will be successful. But surely it'd require more involvement on their part.
Lets see if they are upto it, he thought.

Letti walked into the potions classroom hesitantly. She didn't know what it was that possessed her to take this class, but she couldn't back out of it now; her pride wouldn't let her. Even though her potion skills had improved (barely) over the year that she'd been absent from Hogwarts, she was still nervous.

"Hello, Professor," Letti said, smiling at the man. She took a seat by the door, half out of habit, and half out of laziness.

Open... the... door... Ondrea silently instructed herself. Still she remained in the hall, hand gripping the doorknob but making no move to actually open it.

It would be another class full of students. Another professor with questions to ask. There would be noises - just the normal, small noises that people don't even notice they make - and every single one of them would make her jump.

Merlin, no wonder her parents were forcing her to therapy, this year. She'd never been quite this bad, before...

Somehow, Ondrea finally got her hand to act according to her will and skittishly entered the Potions classroom. Going straight to the first seat she laid her eyes upon, the girl sat and waited. Waiting for it all to start - all over again.

Aireon entered the classroom. He felt rather down now that his only true friend was gone from Hogwarts, but he had other acquaintances. Hopefully, they'd become good friends too. His ice-blue eyes scanned the room. He noticed the timid Ravenclaw he met last year sitting right by the door. He was tempted to sit by her like he did last year, but thought better of it. She'd have to face her fears on her own.

He took a seat at the front corner of the room. He pulled out his quill and ink as well as some paper. He set them up neatly.

    "Good afternoon, Professor," he greeted.

Karma walked into the potions room with a scary little smile on her face. One more. If one more Gryffindor asked her where her mentor was, she was gonna snap. Well, snap them in half that is. Why waste a perfectly good dagger on a Lion?

With that thought she slid into the seat behind Aireon, greeting the professor a little too cheerfully.

Jet walked into the classroom on Karma's heels, a concerned look on his face. He'd never seen her so... dangerous. She looked like she was ready to rip of the head of the next person who crossed her vision.

Deciding it was probably unwise to sit next to her when she was in such a state, he sat next to the only other Slytherin present. "hello." he greeted, grinning at the boy before turning to the teacher and greeting him politely. He cast a wary look at Karma before turning back so he faced front.

Kathy entered the classroom with her book on her hand.
She quickly took a sit by the corner and smiled to everyone else.

Diane hurried to Potions. One of her new year's resolutions said that she should come early at class. Especially potions. The one subject she's NEVER good of. But, of course, she read some tips from different sources about successful potion-making. Hopefully those things will come in handy.

She entered the room and greeted the professor. She smiled at the other students and sit right next to Kathy.

Kathy turned to D and greeted her a Good day.

She then put her attention to her "slightly" (scratched) wounded arm.

Arsen left the common room and head straight for his first lesson, he wasn't feeling hungry this morning so he avoided the chance to be stared at again. He sighed and threw his bag over his shoulder before entering the potions classroom for yet another year of classes he wanted no part in. None of them were going to teach him what he really needed but he had to pass as normal for now. So with Aria following he headed over to the table at the back and took a seat to wait for the class to begin.

Aria trailed after Arsen, slowing now and then to stare at some picture or suit of armor before running to catch up again. The blonde copied his actions as he threw his bag over his shoulder, managing get her hair caught between her shoulder and the strap of her own bag. Pulling the strands free again, Aria followed Arsen to a nearby table and sat, brown and blue gaze curiously sweeping the classroom and its occupants.

" Oh, hello," Aireon greeted. He was thinking about the potions they may learn when the Slytherin greeted him. He extended his hand.

    "I'm Aireon," he said.

Cepheus sighed as he entered the potions classroom, seeing mostly Slytherins. Despite being a Pureblood himself, he was a Hufflepuff and didn't believe the ideals - making him a bit of an odd one. He didn't get along with most of the Slytherins, so instead he moved closer to the Gryffindors and sat behind them, dropping his bag on the ground and looking to the front of the room.

"I'm Jet." Jet said with a small smile at Aireon. His eyes swept the rest of the classroom. He paused to wave at Aria, but continued looking around. He didn't get why he had to take any of these classes, they didn't make much sense really, but he hoped that they would prove their worth to him eventually.

"Good afternoon class," Shaun straightened from his position beside tha desk. "Today we'll be starting some projects. Today you'll make a team of two and work on a potion. It will be either the Draught of Living Death or Amortentia. Now, give me your name along with your teammate's and the potion you chose. Submit your names on my desk."

Karma leaned forward, all thought of dead and dying Gryffindors flying out of her head at the mention of Potionmaking.

"Aireon." She called. "Would you work with me please?" Her eyes met Jet's with a smile. "Perhaps if we ask, Professor Moody will allow us to be a group of three."

"I'm fine with either way, or if Professor says no, then I'll find some one else," he said. He'd noticed strange behavior in Karma and Jet. He didn't know what it was, but he knew not to mess in affairs outside of his concern.

Jet waved his hand dismissively. "You two can work together. I'd rather meet someone new anyway." He paused, as if waiting for something, then stood and walked to the other side of the room, towards the Gryffindors.

"Would one of you mind working with me today?" Jet asked softly, eyes on the ground.

    Projects! That sounded fun!

Aria immediately turned to Arsen, who had to be sick of her by this point, she asked so many questions. "What's 'Draught of Living Death'? Something that makes you feel like you're dying? Or something that makes you wish you were dead? Why would someone take something like that? And what's Amortentia? I don't recognize that word, at all. Is it something nice? Or is it like Draught of Living Death? How come one of them has a really long name and the other has a name is some other language?"

The thought that she might work with someone else didn't even occur to the girl.

No. Oh, no. Merlin, PLEASE no, Ondrea thought desperately. Teams? Why couldn't they brew the potions individually? She cast a wide-eyed glance around the room. No one would partner with her, and Ondrea wasn't sure she wanted them to.

Ondrea hunched in on herself. She would have to tell the professor she didn't have a partner any minute, now. What if he made her work with another pair, though? That would be two people, instead of just one. Clasping her hands together tightly, she stared back down at her desk, awaiting her inevitable fate.
