Worlds Collide(Iva/Ty)

"If your a-weird, than so am I," he said with a small smile.

He picked up a rock and let it drop into the lake, falling back into what he had done in the begining.

"I guess some small ones are a simple, but it could be a-true that some germs are a-bad," Ty said conversationally, "Who in there a-right mind would say a small space would harm someone?"

Iva looked at her feet and took a deep breath.

"You are that nice kind of weird though," She went to find her shoes again so she, hopefully, wouldn't embarrass herself again, "Do not change it,"

She looked at her watch- she was supposed to be home ten minutes ago. Instead of panic, she scoffed. She doubted the family even noticed she came home for Christmas anyway.

She could be out for days without any attention drawn to her absence.

Ty smiled, "Well if you a-like it than I havta keep it the same."

He playfully nudge her shoulder with his own. "Yeah ain't so bad yeahself."

He noticed her glance at her watch, and he himself looked around him, noticed that the sun was lower in the sky. He hadn't realized how long they had been out there.

"Woo-wee, it must be a-gettin' late," he commented, "Don'tch'yeah haveta be somewhere?"

Nudging him back, Iva cracked a small grin in return.

"Not really," She said, "No one needs me at home."

Then Iva realized he was probably implying he had to go. She flushed, then looked at her feet. How stupid.

"I can leave if you want me to."

Ty realized how that might have sounded and immedately started to back track.

"No, no, no," he said firmly, "That ain't what I were implyin' a-tal. I just want to make sure that I weren't a-goin' to be gettin' yer in trouble."

"If no one a-needs yeah at a home, than a stay," he smiled, "I just a-might need yeah here."

Iva looked up, her mouth wide with surprise. Then, she smiled warmy at the man, grabbing his hand again. Her hand seemed to warm in his; it was... nice. Then the warm sensastion returned in her stomach; she wondered if it was medical.

"Then I will stay," She nodded softly, "If you want me too,"

Ty looked down as she put her hand in his, it felt so small there, but nice to. He looked back up and smiled, his eyes twinkling.

"Course I want yeah to," he said, "I don't a-say thangs I don't mean. What's the point of that?"

"Silly American, " Iva chuckled and shook her head, a wide smile on her face. Her braid had began to bug her, so she let it loose to drape over her shoulders.

"People can lie so to protect others." she said, shrugging. Her eyes met his, a light blue twinkling the the dying sun. He was handsome, she decided again.

"I prefer to hear truth though, even if it hurts me,"

"Don'tch-yeah lie," he whispered with a smile, "Yeah love us anyway."

Ty nodded his head as he thought about it.

"I shall rememeber that," he nodded, "Iva always gets the truth."

Iva stood on her tip- toes, close to his face. She could feel his soft breath and- That weird sensation returned. She ignored it and continued.

"And Americans secretly love the Russians, yes?" She teased in a whisper to match his. Her clutch on his hand growing firmer as she gave a soft smile. The disinfectant was still clinging to her skin, the smell mixed with his making her feel strangly relaxed.

He gave the girl a soft smile, as she push herself up so they were closer in height.

"But of course, Sug," he said, "Especially when they are as special as you - and me of course." He gave a laugh alluding to their earlier conversation.

Iva pushed herself high onto her toes; so high, in fact, that she was a bit off balance.

"You are too tall," She proclaimed, wobbling on her toes and she gave a laugh. It seemed so dangerously fun; something she had never done before. "Special people should be taller than me, no?"

Then her foot slipped out from under her again and she found her lips pressed up against his in a soft touch. She waited a moment, then backed away quickly.

"I-I am sorry! I did not mean to do such things! I promise!" Her face was red and her stomach was filled with a static feeling.

Maybe she did mean to do it; it was nice afterall.

"What does heigh haveta do with any thang," he laughed.

She started to wobble, Ty could see that. He was reaching out to grab her, steady her when her lips on his stopped him. He froze. It wasn't that long of a kiss, it was more of a peck, the kind children gave.

That was the thought that really threw him. She was after all a child. For a long moment he was surprised he found he didn't mind until that though really sunk in.

"Its okay," he said instinctivly, his voice level and stunned, "I mean its a-not... yer a- I'm a... I can get into plenty o'trouble here."

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, mussing it up as he looked down at her, "How old are yeah anyways."

"I am 13," Iva bit her lips and looked at her feet, her voice quivering, "I did not mean to. I will not tell anyone, I promise. Forgive me,"

She bent her head down with sorrow, unable to make eye contact. To kiss an almost stranger was one thing, but to kiss such an older man was... strangley satifying. Well, she was sorry about it, and embarrassed, but that wouldn't stop her from doing it again.

What was she thinking?

"I am sorry,"

"13," he repeated nodded his head slowly. "Five a-years, that's a, I mean its not too, It could a be...."

He shook his head clearing his swirling thoughts. Taking a deep breath, he ran his hand through his hair one more time, and then smiled.

"Don't worry 'bout it," he said, "I mean I a-can't encourage yeah to do it again - for obvious reasons - but once wasn't all that bad." He gave her a smile and playfully bumped her shoulder.

Iva nodded, still not meeting his eyes. She stepped back a bit when he touched her. Embarrassed, she hugged herself to hide her shame.

"You are not making any sense, Ty," She whispered, "You are sending mixed signals to me,"

"Sorry," he said again rolling his shoulders, "I'm a good at flirtin' not so good at everythang else."

He paused again, to really think about it.

"Yer great, I'm not messin' round here. Its just," he sighed, " 13, you don't seem 13 yeah know. I just can't... theres a lot..."

Tyler heard himself saying these things, however for some reason he didn't want to listen to them.

"Oh you know what," he heard himself say, "Screw it."

Next thing he knew he had leaned across the distance and had kissed her himself.

Iva reached up and wrapped her arms aound the back of his neck, her face a light. She stood on her toes again, straining to meet him.

How was this germy and disgusting, yet pleasing and addicting all at the same time?

"T-Ty," She mewled into his mouth, a bit unsure what to do. This was her first kiss, of course; she'd probabl just make herself seem stupid if she tried something the magazines told her to do.

Iva responded quite willingly to his kiss and although there was a rational part of his mind that was telling him that this wasn't right, she was a child, he was being a corrupting influence - not to mention the fact that he had to be breaking a law or two - but that voice wasn't speaking all that loud.

He pulled back and smirked a little, "Iva?"

As his senses came back to him he gave a little groan.

"I probably shouldn't 'ave done that," he finally said, though not really sounding too sorry about it.

"Yes, you should not have," Iva found herself letting him go awkwardly, a bit troubled by her sudden warm nature. "But you are welcome to do it again,"

She looked up at him with large eyes, not innocent, but troublesome and devilish. A smile crept up on her face as she giggled.

Ty could help but smile at her as he shook his head, "See now, yer not supossed to be a-doin' that."

He shook his head and laughed, as he took a step back, putting some distance hoping his rational side would hold more control with more space.

"Yer a aweful influence, Sug," he claimed, eyes sparkling as she looked at him with a far from innocent look and began to laugh herself.

"Oh really?" Iva turned away from him and started walking slowly away. Her hands were behind her back in an adult fashion. Her voice sounded a bit hurt, but her hidden face was grinning "Maybe I should go then,"

This plan could either make him call for her, or lose her, she realised. It was dangerous game, she knew, but life was a dangerous game altogether.

"Good bye,"

Ty let her walk for a few steps. He knew in his mind that he should have just let her walk the whole way, leave his life and he could pretend this whole thing never happened.

After all, it really shouldn't have. He should have been more responsible... more..

Hell, when in his life had he been responsible, and when in his life had things gone the way they were supposed.

"Now, Now Sug," he called hoping to stop her progress, "I never said that, that was a bad thang. Maybe I want some horrible influences in my life."

A small smile crept on to her lips. Perfect.

"Oh, well, then," She didn't turn around, but merely flipped her hair over her shoulder. "Maybe I do not want you,"

She looked over her shoulder, a massive grin on her face. She was just playing with him now.

"Or maybe I do."

Ty raised an eyebrow at the girl, and smirked.

"Well than Sug, I guess you better decide which one yer gunna go with."
