Within the forest, there are lots of creatures that like to hide behind the dark boughs of the trees. There is only one clear path into the forest, which stops about half-way through, leaving a person to either carry on and make their own path or to turn back and return to the light of day.

In the day, the Blackened Forest is bearable, the shafts of light filtering down through the trees making the way ahead visible. In the night, however, it's completely different. In the night, all the animals and beasts come out to play. Among those who've wandered into the forest at night, many have not returned. In fact, many were never even found...
