Just getting a drink (open)

Lenora walked into the 3 broom sticks to see it wasn't really crowded, she ordered a butterbeer and waited. When it came out she happily took a sip of it. Sometimes her classes stressed her out but she loved teaching.

Colin walked into the three broomsticks and glanced around. He was glad for the opportunity to get away from the school for a bit. The students had been drivinging him mental for the past little while and he wanted, no probably needed, a break.

Going over to the bar, he waved to get the person behind it's attention, and then ordered a firewhiskey. As turned around once more he noticed someone he recognized. Another Hogwarts Professor.

"Hello," he smiled at her, "Fancy meeting you like this."

Lenora looked up at the Hogwarts professor and smiled. "Hello Colin fancy seeing you here, take a seat, so how are your classes going" Lenora asked.

Colin did as the woman asked and smiled.

"The majority of the classes have been going quite fine thank you," he said conversationally, "I did have a little problem with one of my second years, but that was resolved, more or less."

By the student dropping the class, but under the cercumstances, the man understood.

"How about yours?"

"Well my classes are good, sucks that someone left your class. I look forward to seeing my second years all the time, it brightens up my day" Lenora responded.

"It does, but I understand. I also do not wish to teach a student who is not intested in learning my subject," Colin stated with a shrug.

Lenora nodded in understanding. "I no what you mean Colin" Lenora said. "Do you have any children" Lenora asked curious.

Colin smiled fondly at the question.

He nodded his head, "I do, a little girl. She's only five... but it seems like just yesterday she was a baby."

Lenora smiled. "I no what you mean, they start off as babies then they grow up. Colin always hold on to her. I have 2 daughters and a step-son and my one daughter can't even stand being in the same room as me" Lenora sighed.

Colin nodded, "I will. Though its just me and her... so I imagine there will be times when she doesn't want to see me either." He laughed.

"That's too bad. I certainly hope you can work that out. Time, I find, can be useful to work out many things."

Lenora nodded. "Yeah I hope I can too, but my daughter Jamie is in my Charms class so she is forced to talk to me so that has it's perks" Lenora smiled.

Colin smiled at that, "I guess teaching a child has it perks... though I can't imagine it would be great all the time. I feel as if I were to ever have Delaney in my class there would eventually be problems."

Lenora had to laugh a little at that. "Yeah my daughter she isn't a problem causer but I've been trying to talk to her but nothing, but when I'm in class and I see her there and when I watch her push herself to get everything right and answers the questions correctly, I'm proud of her because I was the same way" Lenora said.

"Anyway how was your holiday" Lenora asked feeling a little awkward for pushing stories on to him.

He had just finished his usual workout and after showering decided to go for a drink, his friends were busy so he had to go alone.

He walked into the Three Broomsticks wearing his plain white shirt and knee length denim pants, he strolled in and noticed two teachers, who he hadn't met before.
Turning fearlessly he strolled over and with a bow to both he said "Good evening, I am Vincent Furtell, First Year Ravenclaw... May I join you?"

"That is good."

Colin nodded his head, "My holidays were well. Not very eventful but still enjoyable."

He looked over at the boy who introduced himself. He thought it odd that a child should wish to spend his time with two professors, but Colin wasn't one to judge.

He nodded his head.

"Hello Vincent," he nodded. "I'm Professor O'Brian. I teach Astronomy." He had not seen the boy in his class before.

He smiled broadly at Professor O'Brian, "Thank you, professor" he sat down and ordered a butterbeer, his favorite drink, "I love the stars, but I don't think I could sit still long enough to actually learn anything" he chuckled slightly and took the butterbeer with a smile.

Taking a mouthful he got comfortable in his seat

Colin tilted his head and smiled.

"I guess I can fogive you for that. Actually studying the night sky is not for everyone... though I find it truely facinating myself."
