History

Katia was the only witch in her village, and when her parents found out her mother was desperate to keep it a secret, while her father wanted to her powers for his own gain, or get rid of her. Once the village found out they began to treat her like vermin, binding her to prevent her from attacking them, only allowing her to use magic when it benefited people of the village. She was raised much like a pet, and the only magic she ever performed was wandless and under great physical pain. Once she was in her late teens she convinced her father that if she had a wand she would be able to do anything for him, swearing her allegiance to him. Slowly she managed to convince him to get her other things, such as books, to help her teach herself magic. Once she was confident enough in the theory she rebelled, escaping from her prison and destroying as much of the village as she could.
