H&PE Lesson Two 2nd & 3rd

Asric apparated right to his second lesson of the day, rather than walk which was expected of him. He'd had a busy morning at the ministry thanks to the last Maius leader, so he hadn't had time to walk or even run that morning. He glanced at his watch before clasping his hands behind his back waiting for the students to arrive.

Henri walked towards class with a small skip in her walk. She was excited about H&PE and was more than willing to learn. She noticed that the Headmaster was already there and that she was first student in the class.

With a polite nod, she greeted the Headmaster.

"Good morning Headmaster!" Iris greeted with a grin as she walked to class. "How was your holiday?" She asked, as she went to stand next to the other student.

Damian made his way out to Hunting and Physical Education class. He joined the girls who had arrived already a bit sullenly. He was the only boy in the class, now that Seth had wherever he had disappeared to. Not that Damian had anything against girls, he just missed having another guy around.

The boy cast a glance at his master and gave a brief nod in greeting.

Iris walked over to the boy and introduced herself with a grin."Hey, I'm Iris! But you can call me Grayson. I'm almost sure I have you in some of my other classes, but I guess I forgot your name." She told, almost looking sheepish.

Iva, late as usual, walked over to the class, bored. She stood near the back, too tired for social interaction. She didn't sleep very well last night, so she counted it as a blessing she even arrived at all.

Damian returned the Gryffindor girl's smile. "It's Damian," he replied.

The boy's attention was drawn to Iva as she approached and he shot her a welcoming grin.

Casey walked up to her Hunting and PE class, the one that made her most curious. They didn't have this one in America. She almost groaned aloud when she saw the girl she had somehow ALREADY managed to make an enemy of, but hope she would let it go.

"Hello Headmaster, nice to see you. How are you today?" she greeted. She obviously didn't have to explain that she was a transfer student to the man who arranged it all.

Ric smiled as the students arrived. "I am very well thank you." He said giving his apprentice a questioning look before moving on with the lesson.


"In the wild you will face many dangers. Dangers that aren't always easy to defeat, especially when you don't know how." He explained scratching Ghost between the ears as she came to stand by his side.


"Sometimes the quote, you can run but you can't hide, comes into play. However, no human can beat an animal on 4 legs. They have more speed, better stamina and are far more streamlined than you. So what do you do when faced with a dangerous predator?" He asked looking for an answer.

"Well," said Casey. "It depends on the predator. Some you need to face, some you need to back away slowly, and some it would probably be best to hightail it out of there before you were dead. I suppose if you were ready enough, you could Stun it and get away. But I also think you're going to teach us far better ways to handle these things," she added with a smile.

Iris nodded her head in agreement. "Yeah, sometimes choosing to fight may not be the best potion. Especially when you don't know your opponent. After all, people do have a tendency to underestimate or even overestimate a predator's capabilities."

Aria bolted down to his hunting class he had been kept in at History of Magic until the whole class had finished writing down the notes. Finally he had made it to the field where the class was a few people were there the class had already seemed to have started

Aria looked over at the Professor, " Sorry Professor" he said his Scottish accent very thick. Aria then stood to the back of the group, he didn't no anybody here, this had been his first year of actually schooling. It was so different from working on his fathers Dragon farm, he missed it so much. He never thought he would be going to school, he liked the Scottish country side and the farm, why did he have to leave

Aria then tried to catch up with what the lesson was about, this was going to be hard he struggled keeping up when he was on time let alone when he was late

Casey noticed the late boy with the cool Scottish accent was looking lost, so she casually wandered over and whispered "We've just started. We're talking about what to do in the face of different predators." She grinned at him. "What to do when the scary beasties come to call," she added.

Aria looked over towards a girl which wandered over to him, she told him they were talking about how to handle different predators, Aria then gave a small chuckle at her added comment

" Aye righteo, thanks missus for tellin me that" Aria replied he then gave a little grin at the girl before turning his head to face the Professor again

Alyssa was running late, so she desided to sprint her fastest to the class. Becoming a slight blur, she made it to the group just as the Headmaster started talking, she laughed quetly at what he said. She could outrun most animals.
Alyssa noticed her sister, and was happy they had a class, she stayed back, she didnt want to interupt. Then a scottish boy came in late, and wasnt to far away, so she came only a second after Casey to say hi.
"Hey!" she whispered quetly, "I'm from Ireland, it's cool to see you." She said to the boy and her sister. She extended her hand to the boy and hoped they would be friends.
