Lesson Two {fourthies}

It looked like it was going to rain. The young professor, Nova Shay Doherty, wasn't happy about it. How the hell I'm gonna teach these kids anything about flying if it's going to start pouring any minute now, she wondered, sighing and frowning every now and so, for she was loosing it, literally.

She planned really awesome things for her fourthies, they were going to play Quodpot (brother sport to Quidditch), something her students always liked, but now it had to wait for the next lesson. And not to mention she was angry because one boy today asked her if she gained some wait. Of course I did, you idiot, I'm pregnant, she wanted to scream to him, but only said that it's none of his business. It wasn't her fault that she was showing, it's normal for someone 5 months pregnant to look a little chubby. Ric told her she was cute, and that was the only thing that mattered.

She made a little shelter near the pitch, a safe place to do her class (only for today), that now looked like a small room without any furniture, except for pillows, many pillows, and a battered old blackboard. On it was written a list of her students, and an important message:

With an muggle umbrella in his possession and his personal broomstick in his other hand, Oliver walked towards the Quidditch pitch to his first lesson since his return to Hogwarts. He was more than excited and if meant playing a game of Quidditch in the rain and getting sick, so be it.

Oliver sighed as he took the sight of the stormy gray clouds. He was glad that he had his ready for any circumstance of rain. It was one of the few things he picked up while his stay at Salem's during the fall term.

He was the first to get in class and when he saw his professor, he went up to her to introduce herself.

"Hello Professor, Oliver Penderghast," he extended his arm for her to shake his hand.

Rachel Evans was walking slowly down towards the Quidditch Pitch for her first Flying Lesson. Though it was raining, she took her time. She loved the feeling of the cool rain against her skin, it was incredibly calming. She didn't care that she was almost soaked to the bone, there was a reason why they had given them wands, it was nothing a quick drying spell couldn't fix.

As Rachel reached the pitch her mind began to wonder, what there were going to do on their first day back? She hoped that they could do some flying in the rain but she assumed that most other girls wouldn't be too happy about that. Then she noticed a small shelter built towards the other end. She walked into it and saw a young professor and a fourth year Ravenclaw boy shaking hands. Rachel muttered the drying spell and walked over to the Professor as well.

"Hello there, Professor, my name is Rachel Evans. It's a preasure to meet you." she extended her hand for the professor to shake and smiled kindly at her.

As she was about to get bored, a boy entered her improvised classroom. "Ah, Mr. Penderghast, lovely to meet you", she said cheerfully, shaking his hand. A pureblood, awesome, Nova thought and saw another girl approaching them. Halfblood, but very rich. Not bad also.

When she shook her hand, the professor smirked. "I always hoped that kids will think it's pleasure to meet me. But now you're pressured to meet me? If you're nervous, the meditation will help."

"Oops." Rachel laughed. "Didn't mean to insult you, Professor. Just a slip of the tongue, you know. It's a pleasure, really."

Rachel scanned the room, still no one had shown up to save her from this increasingly awkward moment. Of course, just her luck.

"Where is everyone? I didn't think I was that early..." said Rachel.

"It's not that easy to insult me. I may be small and young, but I'm so much tougher than I look", Nova responded, remembering everything she's gone through since her mother was killed. The pregnancy, her best friend disappearing into thin air, all this mysteries. She sighed. It was all taking a toll on her.

"It's still very early. You two came here even before you had to."

Kathy walked in the room with her book by her hand. Hoping she wasn't late he quietly took a sit. She pushed her book on her chest as she sigh.

"Good Day Professor" Kathy greeted with a smile.

(OOC; sorry i hadn't show up some of your lessons. I was having some personal trouble which lasted for half a year. So, i've been away for that long , i think. I am really sorry)

Karma was a little depressed about this flying lesson, as her broomstick had been turned to ash, but that's what you got when you flew during a Lightning storm, she supposed.

She glanced at the sky, relieved that it was a clear day.

"Professor." She greeted. "My broomstick has been... damaged... do you think I could use one of the school's?"
