Lesson Two - Third Years

Regina sat at her desk at the front of the classroom, making final notes on her lesson plans. Se never thought that she would be a teacher, but it felt so refreshing to actually being able to teach someone. The quill kept moving in her hand as she waited for the students to arrive. Her expression was calm and cool. She was not sure what kind of professors the students were used to here, but she hoped for their sake that they chose this subject because they liked it. She didn't like her time being wasted.

Iris arrived at the classroom with her mind ready and fresh. She sighed heavily once she saw a new professor. Again. She would entirely miss Professor Bloxam and all his methods of teaching. But perhaps, this one could be another one of the good kind. The rare kind of the professors. The woman sitting there looked she was calm. And Iris sure felt that without knowing she forgot to shield herself.

She continued to come in slowly, sort of tip-toeing and greeted the professor with a bow and a shy smile, "Good day, professor. I'm Iris."

"Good day to you to, Miss Frances," Regina said coolly, finally putting her quill down. She did not look up at the girl as she flicked over a page of her notes. "Take a seat," she said to the still standing girl. Her first student was a few minutes early, she would give the others some time to arrive before starting the lesson.

Iris smiled at the busy professor and took her seat on the front. At least the lady is a kind one. She's safe with that.

Settling down her bag full of information on books, she decided to take one out and give a try on advance reading on some chapters. They can be that interesting and might help her soon.

Iva strolled into class, books dangling in her arm. She didn't acknowledge the teacher or Iris, the noyl other student, as she sat in the back.
