Lesson Two - Fourth Years. Empty Lesson Two - Fourth Years.

Post by Andria Fallen Tue Jan 10, 2012 10:32 am

The day would always come to an end. And for Andria, it might as well finish sooner. Another feeling of ending the lesson and looking forward to the next. But in this case, what she had planned for the fourth years was rather a thing that would make them active and all that proving themselves. These students were always up to the challenges. And Andi loved that. She couldn't ask for more than this magnificent feeling of being able to bring knowledge and fun to her students. Surely, she would not want to disappoint them. Not once. Never.

The lady drew her wand out and started to make the chairs go sideways as to give the rest of the room a neat space to work on with the activity. One hint she is sure of: No recitations. Just sheer fun of physical things to do.

She was running to the Dueling classroom, hoping she'll get there first, and not last, like the previous time. When she entered and slowed her heavy breathing down, Tesla happily noticed that she in fact, came there before anyone else, with the exception of their professor, Andria Fallen.

"Mrs. Fallen, sir, miss", she said rapidly. "I'm here."

Charlotte's walk from the dungeons to the fourth floor was very dull to her. She hoped class would pick her up from her boring state of mind. When she entered the class room, the tables were all lined up at the side of the room. She raised an eyebrow at it curiously and could tell this would be a good class day.

She was the second to enter class and because of that, she took the opportunity to introduce herself to her new professor.

"Hello Professor, I'm Charlotte or Char, if you'd like. I'm in Slytherin," she nodded politely as she extended her hand. "It's a pleasure to be in your class."

She then spotted Tesla and went to stand next to her, smirked and gave her a nod before crossing her arms, "Tesla."

Rachel Evans walked into the fourth floor dueling classroom with a large smile on her face. Dueling was one of the more exciting classes at Hogwarts like Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration. In the classroom, there were already two girls standing near each other.

She blew a fly-away strand of redhair out of her face and walked up to the Professor. "Hello, I'm Rachel Evans. A Gryffindor. It's nice to meet you. Oh, and you can call me Rach, everyone does after a while."

Then she turned to the other girls; one was fellow Gryffindor, the other was a Slytherin. Rachel wasn't really one for inter-school rivalries so she smiled at them both and said, "Hey, I'm Rachel Evans, or Rach for short. And you guys are?"

Arsen listened to all the greetings and rolled his eyes. There were far too many happy people around here and he just couldn't stand to hair all the cheeriness. He entered the classroom and moved to stand in the corner, ignoring the others in the room.

"Charlotte," she responded to the Gryffindor with barely visible nod. "Char if you become a good close friend of mine."

It wasn't that Charlotte was rude or anything. Well, she was but what she liked to call blunt, people liked to call rude. She mentally rolled her eyes at the ideas of other people.

Karma walked into the duelling classroom, yawning. Okay, so, drinking the day before class. Not a good idea. When had she become an alcoholic again? Was it in the stands with Arsen? That Party with the Durmies? Spin the bottle in the Room of Requirement? She couldn't remember, and that was probably the point.

She hadn't bothered to put on her robe and her hair was messed up. The white uniform shirt and skirt were wrinkled, but you wouldn't see her giving a damn. She leaned against the wall and grinned lazily at the teacher. Her eyes unfocused. She couldn't wait to DO something.

Jet walked behind her, whispering rapidly to her, her robe over one shoulder. She waved her hand dismissively at him. She was so so so very tired of him being all motherly. He placed her bag on the floor in front of her and she patted him on the head. He was such a good pet...

Oliver walked into his class and realized he was the only Ravenclaw student there. He didn't really know a lot of students and even if he did, they most certainly grew up because he didn't recognize them.

He went up to the head of the Ravenclaw house and with a smile, he introduced himself. He was pretty sure that she'd seem him around the tower but he had never gotten the opportunity to speak to the Head.

"Oliver Penderghast," He introduced. He then walked to the other side of the room and waited for class to begin.

Andria nodded curtly towards the students who had diligently arrived and spoke highly of what she had planned for the lesson. She gazed around at all the random faces, until she fell short that some students were still not present. Maybe they catch up anyway. The lady was too fond to get the lesson started. And perhaps, the students would too.

"Pleasure to meet you all. The new ones. And welcome back for the others. I think we're plenty enough to get started. And the remaining students not yet present can still keep up with the procedures. In which I believe would not be a really hard one."

Andria paused and walked across the front row. Crossing her arms and trying her best to not take up most of the time so they can move on with the adventure. She cleared her throat and began addressing the class,

"As you all know, during the past lesson we learned and practiced non-verbal spells. Somehow, some are already great, and some tried their best to manage. And now, I reckon that those things will finally come in handy. First thing to do: Pair up, can be either the past partner or a new one. And when you won't find one, we can settle with the others who will soon show up. I want you to hurry for now. Then we can get this over with."

She stopped talking and raised an eyebrow. Expecting the students to follow the simple order so they can have the rest of the fun later.

She gave her a huge smile, flashing Charlotte with whiteness of her teeth. "Of course", she said, nodding her head, and then with a lower voice added. "We bitches should stick together."

Rachel looked around nervously as the Professor announced the worst possible thing.

    Partners.

Of course they would have to pair up the first day, Rachel didn't know anyone besides the Slytherin girl she had just introduced herself to and she was already partnered up with someone else, just her luck... Rachel scanned the room for a possible candidate. There were only Slytherins left and they didn't look too happy, but then she recognized a Ravenclaw boy from her other classes, he seemed nice so she walked over to him.

"Hi." she said to the Ravenclaw, with a friendly smile. "I'm Rachel Evans, we have Flying together, right? Well, see, I'm kind of new here and I don't really know anyone soo..." she tucked a loose strand of her wavy redhair behind her ears and then bit her lip. "Would you like to pair up with me?"

Aria entered the classroom, gritting her teeth, a rather violent thought in her mind for one so generally pleasant-natured. That stupid Hufflepuff who'd run her into the wall was dead. She didn't care if it was an accident; she hurt quite enough without his bloody assistance, thank you very much.

"Sorry I'm late, Professor," Aria said, belatedly schooling her expression and pulling her right hand away from her left side. She looked about the classroom, moving to stand near Karma and Jet.

"What'd I miss?" she asked quietly.

Andria smiled at the Slytherin who came in and replied to her question softly, no bother that she was late. The woman knew nothing about that word.

"We were just partnering up, lass. Then after that, we'll have some actual duelings regarding the non-verbal spells that we learned in the past lesson."

She stopped, deciding that she can now choose or let the students who's already with a partner start the duel. She cleared her throat as to be heard and announced what she had in mind, "All right. Who wants to volunteer first?"

Oliver looked up at the girl what was addressing him and with a smile, he agreed to be her partner. "It's quite alright. I'm sort of new as well. I'm Oliver by the way and I do believe you're right. We have flying together."

Kathy walked in the room with her book by her hand. Hoping she wasn't late he quietly took a sit. She pushed her book on her chest as she sigh.

"Good Day Professor" Kathy greeted with a smile.

(OOC; sorry i hadn't show up some of your lessons. I was having some personal trouble which lasted for half a year. So, i've been away for that long , i think. I am really sorry)

Andria smiled at the newcomer Gryffindor and reassured the trouble-looking lass, "Ah. Welcome, my dear. Please, choose a partner so we can go ahead with the activity."

She looked around after no one responded to volunteer and consulted the faces that were already partnered. She gazed at the circle of students intently and finally came up with the decision, hoping that the group she chose was ready and it did not bother them, "All right. West and Gordon, you two go first. Start with the initial and formal bow then you can proceed having a Duel using non-verbal spells." then addressed to all of them,

"Remember that It's your free will if you'd rather cheat and mutter under your breaths. Or even use the spells you want. Be responsible enough. A person with a heart of a coward that hides never win. No hard feelings."

Andria smiled softly and stopped, gesturing for the class to clear the middle of the room to make way for the pair who will start.

Charlotte nodded and walked towards the middle of the classroom. She smirked slightly, knowing this was definitely not going to be a dull class. She positioned herself to face Tesla and gave the formal bow while holding a grip on her wand. Her adrenaline pumped up as she pointed the wand towards her friend.

    Expelliarmus she thought.

"No holding back, Tesla," she grinned towards her friend.
