History

Family:
Her parents, Eoghan and Mikaela O'Donnell, enjoy traveling and have had all five of their children in different countries around the world. Alonna and Aidan (twins, girl/boy) were born in Egypt; Deidre was born in Germany; her younger brother Shay was born in Peru; and her youngest sister Cathleen in Greece. For awhile they lived in Ireland, but when Deidre's father earned a promotion, they moved to Germany, Deidre's birthplace. It was unexpected, and by the older children unwanted, but with the promotion came more money and the opportunity to attend Durmstrang. Mikaela thought it a wonderful idea and encouraged her husband to accept the promotion.
Personal:
Deidre spent most of her childhood watching Aidan and Alonna play Quidditch. While she had no desire to be up there in the air, she enjoyed watching the game. Also she had better things to do, like trick Shay into eating a worm or a spider. She wasn't a cruel older sister, just enjoyed manipulating those around her. Which is why she disliked Quidditch. She couldn't manipulate the other players to her will.
