My Brother Would Not Like This (Quil/Pie)

Pieter smiled, actually feeling better for the first time in a while. Aquila made him feel... good again.

"It's just... he was my first boyfriend. My first kiss... My first everything." he gave a small sigh and leaned into the boy, "It's hard to get over it,"

He rubbed his hair again with a grin. "Maybe you should be my Valentine then, eh?" he joked, leaning away. "You are pretty amazing and you think I'm amazing,"

He pulled his arm away and stood up. "Just kidding, of course,"

Aquila glanced over and caught his smile. He liked that. The boy looked much better with a smile.

"They say it gets better," he said softly, nudging the boy ever so slightly, "But what do I know? I'd say its supposed to be hard to get over... not impossible, but hard."

Quil cleared his throat as the boy moved away, for once not even bothering with his usual hair touching protest.

"Of course... kidding," he repeated, nodding and then grinning impishly, "But you know I'd be a pretty damn good Valentine. "

Pieter walked over to thw window, feeling a bit restless.

"Yes, yes, I'm sure you write romantic poems and give out chocolate and such," he said, a bit of sarcasm dripping into his voice, "A wonderful, good boy, aren't you?"

H opened the window, his face folding into a frown again. "Wait until you date, Quil. It's great until it sucks," she looked back at him, "Unless you have someone?"

As Pieter wandered over the window, Aquila rotated himself over the chair so that his legs were hanging over one arm, and his head the other. He tilted his head, so he could see Pieter, and the blood began to rush to it.

"Meh, you wouldn't want poetry from me. I'd never have the patients to write it all down, and if I did it would probably be filled with thinly veiled teasing insults before it was romantic," he gave a small chuckle, and waggled his feet in the air, "Annnd, I'd probably eat half the chocolates before I gave them to yeah."

Quil paused a moment at the the question. It was simple, but not. After a moment he shook his head.

"Nope. Just me myself and I. There was sort of someone ones, back at hogwarts but..." he trailed off and shrugged, "Don't know what happened to him. We were kids anyways... at least I was - Still am, I think I always will be." He gave a little laugh.

Pieter laughed, leaning against the window sill. "I'm sure you give out wonderful presents," he said, "Wonderful, half eaten chocolates,"

He paused, tilting his head with a sympathetic smile. "That sucks," he looked over his shoulder to glance out the window. The breeze was still a bit cold, but he ignored it. "I'm sure you could go back and talk to him again... What was his name?"

"Of course I do," he siad with a grin, "Its the thought that counts anyways, and I am nothing if not thoughtful."

He laughed, since he really wasn't. He barely remembered his brothers birthday - usually scrounging up something about three days before when he finally remembers - and he certainly never thought anything through before he did it.

"Tobi," Quil said with a little smile, thinking of some fond moments before he shook his head again, "No, I can't. Don't really know where he is. He just sort of... took off? I don't even know. Didn't think it was important to tell me."

Pieter smiled and walked back over, holding himself over Quil's face by the back of the chair.

"I'm sorry about that," he touched noses with the boy in a sign of pity, "I wish I could make it better,"

Then, as he pulled away, he smiled a bright grin. "Wait- but, I can!" He pressed his lips to together and sang, "I have an idea, Quilly,"

Quil just gave a little grin as the boy touched his nose with his own, not entirely sure what that was, but not complaining either. There was possibly a small blush on his face, but he neither noticed or cared.

"Oh you do, do you?" Aquila raised an eyebrow and a small smile tugging at his lips as the boys mood seemed to have turned around. "And what is this idea, Piety?"

Pieter shrugged. He wasn't going to spoil the surprise! Instead, he headed towards the door, grinning.

"I guess you are just going to have to wait and see!" he laughed. Before he reached to door, he turned around and stuck out his tongue, "All I can say is that you'll be surprised!"
