Lesson Three - First Years.

Andria entered the classroom with the very light mood of hers and looked around. Coming to a conclusion that the space was indeed neat and clean, she sighed then took her seat behind the desk in front. She placed the papers on top with the lesson plans, and waited for her first years to arrive after the rather short break of theirs.

Alyssa walked into the dueling class, it was definitely one of her top classes. Looking around she saw the teacher behind her desk.
"Good day Professor! No dancing brooms today?" Alyssa said laughing, though she did like the brooms last lesson.
"What are we going to be doing today?"

Walking powerfully into class, Vincent smiled widely as he loved dueling. He scanned the room bowed slightly at the teacher and the other girl asking
"Where's Savannah? She was really fun to duel" He kept looking then put his books down and pulled his wand out.

Andria laughed softly at her exciting students and smiled gently as she gave her reply, "That would be a surprise. You'll see. And oh, I think the elves did clean this time." and scanned the room, feeling a bit disturbed that the Gryffindor she admired that always show up on time still didn't arrive. Perhaps something went wrong. Or just plain exaggeration.

"Glad you enjoyed her company, lad. And you two are great. Maybe we should see if anyone dared to show up this time." The lady replied with a forced smile and pursed her lips, wondering of somebody had gotten trouble. Most especially now that a creature is on the loose and just grabbing students away. She did hope that nothing like that will ever happen. But what if?

Storm went to dueling, still as excited as usual. She definantly liked dueling very much. She half smiled at the girl she'd dueled last time, was her name Alyssa or something? She then walked to a desk and smiled at the professor.

"Hello Pofessor Fallen," Storm smiled.

He smiled, hoping to see her walk through the door,
"Excuse me, Professor, what will we be learning today?"
He smiled and welcomed the girl who entered.

"All right! Perhaps we can start. Although we seem pretty few today." Andria spoke once she took a glance from her watch and signaled for the lessons to start. She hoped for the door, as though someone might come around soon to expand the number, but none arrived.

She sighed exasperatedly, crossed her arms, and began to stroll around the room, clearing her throat as she began with the lesson, "Everte Statum. Definiton. Use. The usual drill. You know what to do." and smiled at her students ready to take action.

Of course, he realized as soon as he saw his timetable, that he would be late for his Head of House's class. Aldan rolled his eyes and sauntered into the classroom, pulling an uncaring expression onto his youthful face as he simply took a seat in the back, staring at the professor as he waited for what he expected to be a scolding or scathing remark like some professors tended to do.

HIs thoughts flicked through each spell he knew, raising his hand he said shortly after.
"Everte Statum, A dueling spell which sends an opponent flying backwards in a flipping motion, it is used in a duel to flip the enemy and leave their guard open and to possibly end a duel."

He hoped he was correct but still smiled away... Had he said it too quickly?

"Correct. And ten points for that." Andria remarked with an appreciative nod and positively ignored the Ravenclaw who have just arrived, then continued, "All right. Now I think it's time to practice. What you're all waiting and here for. Use the spell most of the time and try your best to move away from it if possible. Techniques and strategies. That's all."

He nodded at the teacher and stood, his wand shot from the top of his sleeve and he caught it expertly in his hand. He walked to the boy who just entered and whispered
"You want to be my partner?" He then stood an went to an open area. Hoping the boy would follow, he readied his wand.

Alyssa listened through the explination, then when it was time to duel, she walked over to Storm.
"Do you want to duel again?" She asked the red head nicely. Alyssa hoped she would do ok today.

Belinda walked into the classroom. "Sorry I'm late" Belinda apologized and took a seat at an empty desk. Belinda sighed because she had a feeling she would get points off her house.

"Yeah, that would be great," Storm smiled. She hoped she'd do well, and readied her wand.

"Defender or attacker?" she asked.

"I dont care, you can choose!" Alyssa said hapily. She liked dueling. Hopefully she wouldnt look like a fool, or accidentaly hurt anyone.

"I wanna do attacker," Storm replied. She pointed her wand at Alyssa. "You ready?"
