Lesson 3 - Third & Fourth years (5th, if we have them)

Catori was burning sage when she walking into the large hut she had set up. With in the hut were multiple sickly animals that needed taken care off. The winter was brutal and some of the animals were suffering. She spent most of her days praying and healing the animals.

Now that it had come time for lesson 3 she thought the best way to handle this was to show the students how to help the animals. All the students would be healing them, but at different levels of ability. Sitting down next to Argos and a skrewt she fed it some sleeping draught while she waited on the students.

Lena walked into the classroom, and shrieked when she saw a skrewt. Well, it was odd that she would scream, because she knew she was going to be handling them. She then scuttled quickly towards her seat and stayed there, not saying a word.

Ciar wasn't sure exactly why she was taking ths class, it just seemed to be the right thing to do. Hopefully there wouldn't be many people that recognized her. She didn't want anyone to think she was going soft or anything. She couldn't help her love of animals. Some were just misunderstood like her and it made her feel like she had something in common with the beasts. That and people were just so much harder to figure out than animals.

Entering the hut the Irish teen choked down the bile that rose in her throat. So many injuries and so much suffering. While Ciar sometimes took sadistic pleasure from torturing the odd human she could never stand to see an animal in pain. Controlling her emotions she walked through the hut and crouched down next to the skrewt. "Rud bocht. Créatúr álainn, beidh tú a dhéanamh ar fad*," Ciar whispered to the slumbering animal.


*Poor thing. Beautiful creature, you shall be made whole.

Paloma entered the hut and her eyes widened immediately. There were sick animals everywhere, not to mention a skrewt - a bloody skrewt! - next to the professor.

She sighed, thinking maybe - just maybe - she shouldn't have signed up for the class. Animals were her sister's thing, not hers. It was too late to go back now, though Paloma wouldn't even if there was still time. She wasn't one to give up on thigns.

She muttered a quick hello to the professor and sat down.

Lora's eyes widened in surprise and shock as she saw the many injured animals. Just looking at them in that condition made her feel sad and depressed. She hoped she would be able to do something to help them. Or even if the teacher refused, she would still try to do something.

She went and sat next to Le, giving her a small smile.

Walking into the hut, the first thing Afonka noticed was that every other student except him was female. He wasn't very surprised, as he highly doubted that most other males would be very eager to take this class. They would all be focusing on battling, failing to see that animals were both helpful and majestic.

Frowning as he noticed the injured animals, he bit his lip, glancing away. Smiling over at the professor, he walked over to her, explaining that he had signed up for the class late. Hoping that she'd understand, he sat down beside a pretty blonde, a rather small smile on his lips.

Sophia was always on time when it came to class but she had signed up late so she was just now starting. She walked into hut and noticed a creature that was injured. She loved animals. Back in Romania, she had a small dragon that she helped back to health. She went and sat with the other students.
