An Angels Oasis (Anya/William)

William strolled slowly through the Herbology Garden, when he was alone he was a different person... he was alone.
He played with his hair, trying to make it look cool, and he succeeded styling exactly how the girls liked it, he stroked certain plants gently.

His secret adoration was beautiful flowers, he found a muggle rose and was very surprised... Who could have planted this? He thought to himself, he squatted and looked at it, he smelt it. He closed his eyes as his mind went back to his home, his mothers rose garden. He cleared mess away from the stork and scored a thorn in his index finger, he pulled back and cursed under his breath.

He lowered himself and sat with his legs crossed, he was glad no one else was here. He never crossed his legs it was so dorky. He kept admiring the rose, he sighed.

Anya strolled slowly through the garden. Her movements were graceful as she paused for a second closing her eyes, breathing in the beautiful aroma of the flowers. She always liked to be in the garden. At home she often found herself strolling through the colorful foliage or reading a book on one of the benches. She opened her eyes once again as she took a few more more steps before her foot bumped into something.

"Oh, I am so sorry," She said immediately, raising a hand to her face in shock. "Truly, I did not mean to bump into you," she apologized again with a sincere smile, shock still evident on her face.

He was lost in the different smells in the room, he slowly opened his eyes when a fragrance beyond the flowers entered, as his eyes fully opened a girl bumped into him.
While he was sitting with crossed legs, he stood swiftly almost tripped was about to fall but put his arm out and landed his right hand against a nearby wall staring into the face of a girl he had never met. His flirtatious instinct kicked in

"Hey, beautiful, the flowers here are nowhere near as pretty as you" he grinned and as he adjusted his weight on his hand the thorn in his finger moved, he winced and pulled his hand away. He looked at it, blood slowly trickling down. The thorn was still present, he put it behind his back and smiled again.
"You have some stunning eyes, gorgeous" he felt different his pick up lines sounded flat and shallow.

Did they always sound like this?

Anya moved back slightly as he stumbled, not wanting to get bumped into. What on earth was a wizard doing sitting in the middle of a garden?

"Oh," she said as she noticed his bleeding hand. "You must walk around with a bleeding hand. It might get infected and you would probably get blood all over your clothes," she said, her voice was kind and gentle. "Here," she said as she reached for a handkerchief in the pocket of her dress. "Take it," she said as she held out the white cloth for him to take.

She gave him a polite smile as he flirted with her. "Thank you for your beautiful words. Do you like the garden, if you don't mind me asking?" she inquired with a smile.

He looked at this beautiful young woman in front of him, offering him a handkerchief. Did girls like this exist? Was he dreaming? Hallucinating? He looked at the handkerchief and almost laughed "I wouldn't be caught dead using that" he went to grab the thorn but as he fixed his strong fingers on it, he yelped as he realised how deep it was, he pulled it but it didn't come out. Blood began pouring out at an increased rate.

He allowed his boy wall come up as he flicked blood on the ground, wincing again. "Pfft, I don't like the garden... I was just" he paused casting his eyes around the area "I was just passing through" he didn't smile as he realised he was being undone by just being in the presence of this girl.

"I'm William by the way"

"And you will end up dead one of these days because you didn't stop the bleeding of one of your wounds," Anya said. Her tone was soft yet her movements were sure as she took his injured hand into both of hers. She wiped some of the blood away with her handkerchief before looking carefully st the wound. With swift fings she plucked out the thorn from is flesh before he even knew it. "That wasn't so bad, was it?" she smiled at him as she wrapped the cloth around his finger.

"Wgatever you say," she said politely, a knowing smile on her lips.

"I am Anya. It is a pleasure to meet you," she said as she reached out her hand towards him.

HE watched curiously as she gently plucked the thorn from his hand and wiped the blood, he looked at her face while she continued. His wall crumpled and all his shallow flirts vanished replaced by the vast ocean of love he was quickly feeling for this girl... Anya.

"That's a beautiful name, he grabbed her hand delicately by the fingers and kissed the top of her hand, "indeed it is a pleasure" he felt the smooth skin of her hand before slowly releasing it, he looked into her beautiful eyes repeating a line but with the sincerity beyond his comprehension "You do have gorgeous eyes" he couldn't control himself as his unbleeding hand came and gently touched her chin.

He realised what he was doing and pulled away, giving some distance between the two. What was he doing? Would this work? Was he being to hasty? Or was this love at first sight?

Anya glanced up at him as he spoke, some wind in her eyes. There was something in his expression, something that she couldn't put her finger on. She gave him a polite smile as he kissed her hand. She couldn't help, but feel something rushing through her, a current, once he touched he r. She was not exactly sure what it was, but she liked it.

She blinked as he touched her chin. She was not used to people being so forward, but from his expression she could tell that he did not mean to be rude. "Thank you," she said softly as he complained her once again.

She glanced down briefly st his injured hand wrapped in her handkerchief before returning her gaze to his. "I must go," she said as she took a smsll step back. "There are so many things that are need to be completed before the classes start once again," she said, her voice almost like the wind before she ave him a parting smile before turning and beginning to walk back to the school, hoping to see him again soon.

He quickly said "Wait, let me give you something"
He reached down and missing the thorns plucked the rose from the ground he grabbed his dagger and cut the thorns off and any roots and imperfections, he gave it to her saying "Before this rose whittles I will see you" he then kissed her once more on the hand and turned leaving the Garden and obvious blush appearing.

This was so unlike him, but he liked it.
