Lesson 3 (Second years)

Lenora walked into her classroom and started to set up for the class. She spent mostly the break trying to figure out what she wanted to do for this group.

J. J. fiddled with the hem of her sleave as she shuffled into the classroom. The shirt she was wearing blatently being something other than her school robes, but she neither truely realized the different nor cared.

She kept her head down, concentrating on her feet, her long lightbrown almost dirty blonde hair covered her pale, sleepworn face, as she sat in the first chair she saw at the back of the room.

The only awknowledgement she gave the professor was the barest movement of her head that could have been taken for a nod should one wish it to do so. Keeping the chair back, she pulled her knees up to her chest, blancing precariously on the small space provided, and rested her head on top of them, enjoying the momentairy darkness- protection - that she could pretend the postion provided.

Casey walked into Charms and noticed the same lonely girl from Transfiguration. After greeting her Professor, Casey gave in to her curiosity and walked over hesitantly. She stood there for a minute, looking down at the girl, before finally saying "Hi, I'm Casey. Are you ok?"

Jamie walked into class and nodded her head to her mother and then took a seat. "Hey J.J and some girl I don't no" Jamie addressed.

Alex walked into class. "Hello professor" Alex greeted and took a seat next to Jamie. "Hey Jamie" Alex greeted.

Casey nodded at the girl. "Hello, I'm Casey. And you are?"

J. J. let out a little squeak at the girl, and then suffled slightly before giving a little wave of her hand and nodding her head.

She hadn't bothered getting out a quill or parchment - hell she hadn't even bothered to bring her bag - so short of attempting to carve it out on the desk she had not other way of communicating anything else.

She bit her lip to keep from making noise as the other students came in, nodding slightly to them if they greeted her, before burrowing more into her seat.

Casey looked down at the girl as she ignored her, then shrugged and walked over to her original seat. She couldn't talk to someone who didn't want to be talked to. All the same, Casey sent calming, happy waves of energy towards the girl, taking a lot more energy than she would usually use to project halfway across the room instead of directly through her hand to the person like she used with Alyssa.

Alyssa walked into the room, and instantly could feel the happy calm waves. She knew Casey was in this class, and Alyssa was much more attuned to the feel of her magic, but the amount she was sending was insane.
"Hey Casey! Whats up with you?" Alyssa said with a big smile as she sat down in the seat next to her, "Why am I feeling so incredibly happy and calm at the moment? I dont remember having an emotional meltdown." Casey only normally send waves to her when she was having emotional problems.

Casey jumped a little as Alyssa spoke to her and lost her hold on her emotion waves. "The girl over there," she whispered, pointing to the sad girl. "She's so sad and frightened. I couldn't not do something. Now quiet, I need to concentrate." She closed her eyes and resumed calming the room.
