Personality: Yvette is usually a very aloof individual. It is often taken for snobbishness but nothing could be further from the truth. She was forced to grow up much to soon as a child, given responsibilities and an independence far beyond her years. Living on the ranch with plenty of kin and ranch hands around she developed a hatred for those who can't appreciate what is around them and who can't look after themselves.

She is usually very quiet and methodical but when she believes passionately in something or something pisses her off Vette becomes a raging ball of fire. She says what she wants when angered breaking through the filter she usually has. She is very stubborn and hard headed breaking out her whip if she has to, in order to get what she wants. Ever the strong one she refuses to show weakness even when down and out.

Overall history: The Sleepy Y Ranch was established in the early days of French history and thrived thanks to it's mixture of ranching and farming. It was also a breeder of fine horses for both royalty and later the cavalry. Located in Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur in approximately the middle of the province it has been passed down through the Montmoril line for centuries. The Montmoril family is one of the richest Muggle families in France though not many people know. The wealth is a close kept family secret as is any instance of magic that erupts in the line.

Yvette was born and raised on the family ranch and was raised to be independent at a young age. She rode her first horse at the age of six and was driving cattle and horses solo by the age of nine. She first displayed accidental magic at the age of four when she summoned her father's lunge to her because she wanted to break the new horse. Needless to say she got in trouble and didn't start breaking horses until she was eight, after she had trained herself to control her accidental magic. Her parents were reluctant to allow her to attend Beauxbaton because they believed her place was on the ranch as a worker. Yvette was reluctant to go but went to learn more about what her magic could do.

During her time at Beaux Yvette has grown into her magic and now only finds herself missing the ranch during the springtime when the air is filled with a sense of newness. At the school she is an independent individual that everyone knows not to cross. During the summer before fifth year she got reacquainted with Ondrea Montgomery and has developed a huge crush on the girl.
