Abraxas and Ksenia's First Ever... Meeting?

Eight-year-old Abraxas Montague had came home from school that day to find yet another gathering in his house. Honestly - these gatherings were becoming like some sort of routine for him, and not in a good way. Oh well, he'd get used to them, right?

As he was walking around by himself, however, he saw a young girl with the Volans family. She was about four, and she looked really, really pretty. He walked over slowly to her, taking a deep breath.

Kyra tried to hide a laugh behind her hand as her older sister whispered something in her ear. These pureblood gatherings could be so boring sometimes. It didn't help that she had to behave like a proper lady. The only thing that stopped her from trying to sneak away from the party was Regina who kept her well entertained with funny comments about the guests around them.

Abe smiled when he saw this small girl laugh. It really brightened him up in a way he had never thought possible. He cleared his throat before making his way towards her... and her sister. Regina, her name was?

"Regina," he muttered, nodding towards her. He then looked in adoration at the younger girl. "I'm Abraxas. You?"

"I am Kyra," she answered, still giggling slightly as she looked at the older boy. Older boys didn't usually approach her. Besides they had cooties. Who would want to talk to someone who had cooties anyway? She giggled slightly again, covering her mouth with her small hand.

"What's so funny?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He couldn't help but feel a smile tug at his lips, though. He wondered if Phillie had met her yet. "Anyway, I'm Abraxas, but you can call me Abe, I guess." He let his hand out for her to shake.

"Nothing," Ksenia said, giggling once again. He really was silly. "What are you doing here?' the little girl asked curiosly while her older sister only smiled and shook her head at the child.

"Nice to meet you," she said shaking the boy's hand with her own.
