The Fallen Star heard the whisper. Gravely concerned, he acted against his favored child, against the demon who is called Djinn, casting him down from his position of authority over all the rest of the Hell.
Betrayed by his master, and shamed, only then did Djinn begin to plot mutiny. He born of the substance of the Pit began to gather followers to him. But the Lord of Hell found naught to hold against him, though many knew of his maneuvering.
In a gesture of good will, the Prince of Darkness restored Djinn to his right hand, but trust once broken is not easily mended.
And thus, matters continued until Djinn acted openly: the first fire demon moved to start an army on the Earth.
