Ryan's Yarns

Dear Journal,
Well, I probably shouldn't say dear, as we are just getting acquainted. Nevertheless, let me introduce myself since, being a muggle born wizard, I can't be too sure of when something in the wizarding world has magical qualities.
My name is Ryan Austin Martin (you, if possible, can call me Ryan or Martin). I was born in Dublin, Ireland but was raised here in London. I had no idea that I was a wizard until a wizard told me himself. I still don't know his name, but he erupted from the fireplace covered in soot and ash one night, giving me a great scare. He gave me this journal and the very next day, I got my acceptance letter to Hogwarts!
My parents were utterly flabbergasted ( I learned that word yesterday from that strange wizard) but they supported me with a great air. Mind you, they usually back me up all of the time.
Well, the wizard is going to come by to take me to Diagon Alley tomorrow as he promised. Until I confess again.
