we're going on a {kait} hunt , INVITE ONLY

Sighing, Lena knew that she should not be so ridiculous when it came to hideout spots. But she wasn't exactly right on where her friend was being held either. That was why her camp was perched on top of a cliff, and her poorly built tent was verging on collapse. She held her walkie talkie close to her, hoping that someone would see any sight of her, because so far, she had seen no one.

Dylan climbed the cliff, and huffed. "Le, why are we here?" He asked. "Shouldn't we be asking questions?" He took a quick glance at the tend and decided that he would sleep in there until it is fixed.

As Lora reached the top of the cliff, she was breathing a bit heavily. "And this is why I'm not athletic," she muttered under her breath. But she knew that she would do anything to find Kait, even if that meant climbing mountains. She poked Dylan in the chest and said, "Good thing you're the athletic one, cause one of us has to be." She teased. "So we're all going to reside in that tent?" She asked, eyeing the thing warily.

Frodo couldn't care that he was tired from the climbing. He dropped all his things onto the ground and asked his friends, "Any idea where we're headed?" He felt like he was on the verge of shouting in frustration, but he forced himself to calm down. Blind anger won't solve anything, he thought. "I think we need to come up with a plan before we go further," he suggested.

Lena shrugged her shoulders. "I don't!" she replied in mock enthusiasm. She looked around at the quiet cliff around her. Even she could tell this place was too unstable for a secret hideout that contained a screaming girl and... who knows who else? She looked at her friends and shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know," she muttered, "I wish we had clues. Any sort of clue. But for tonight, I suggest we get some rest."

He grinned back at Lor. "Of course, I am the mighty one here." He chuckled and walked over to Frodo. He gave him a manly pat on the back, told him, "We will find her. I promise." Then he frowned. "Let's go to Kait's home area, see if anybody has seen anything." He suggested. "Even her mom, knowing Kait she might have walked over there just to yell at her and steal some money along with a drink."

He sighed, and walked over to the tent. He started fixing it up, making it more sturdy. He was glad for the many nights he grabbed a tent and camped out in the woods.

Lena laughed when Anya poked her. "Well, I needed somewhere where we can see the entire island, and this cliff was the only place I could think of," she explained, sitting down on the ground. She stared up at the night sky. The weather was cool, thankfully enough, because she knew how hot Greece was in the daytime because of that visit with Kait. Biting her lip, she decided to stand up and set up her tent.

"Well," she began, "we have to search the islands tomorrow. Lor and Dyl will search this one, Anya and Fro, you go search the one next to this one about five miles away, and I'll... I'll be searching alone." She finished her speech and she continued to set up her tent so she can have a good night's sleep.

Deciding that she wasn't going to be of much help as of now, Lora separated herself from the group and walked a bit further from the camp site. She lay down and looked up at the stars. "Where are you, Strawberry?" She asked herself, using the nickname she had made up for Kait. She felt the tears fall, but this time she didn't stop them. There was no one here to point out she was being weak after all. She hated herself for not being stronger for her best friend and appreciated Le for her smartness and strength.

She wiped her tears but didn't bother going back. Maybe I just need some rest, she thought as she clenched and unclenched her fists.

"No Le, you are not going alone, I will." Frodo immediately replied. "Anya's right; it's not exactly safe to be on your own. Me on the other hand...well, I'm not really bothered about 'me' right now and you shouldn't be either," he told quietly but firmly. "Either I'll stay here or you & Anya can stay here and I will go search; your choice."

He smiled forcedly at the Hrabrost and gave her a hug. "Thank you, I appreciate it. And yeah, with the five of us looking, I'm sure we'll find her," he agreed. He sighed as he watched Lora walk away, but knew that he couldn't make her feel better. "No point in making her feel worse either," he muttered to himself. "Alright, I say that we start searching around 8 am. Is that okay with everybody?"

He waved at Anya, laughing along with her as the tent collapsed. Then he started setting it back up again, and made it nice and sturdy. He looked at Le and Frodo, and shook his head. "Nobody is alone. That is why Kait got kidnapped, and why we are all here instead of doing something fun all together." He was being blunt, he knew that. There was moments where that was needed though.

"We all need to excerise a bit, in my opinion too." He muttered. Ever since he was able to run, he was constantly running and throwing stuff. Then as he got older, lifting weights and sports. It kept him out of his house, which had family members that he could never get close to.

"Frodo," He told him, "You should be thinking about yourself. When we find Kait, we don't
have to tell her that you got yourself hurt." He sighed.

"Well, if only I can duplicate myself, or I could send someone else to go on this trip with me, but I need time to think about all of this on my own. I've been through a shitload lately and I haven't had the chance to be on my own," Lena announced. Her messed up life was taking a toll on her, if it wasn't obvious enough. She needed to be alone, even if it got her killed. "I will be fine, guys," she announced, and she got ready to go to sleep. She didn't want to talk anymore, and she decided to lay herself down on her sleeping bag.

"How do you know Kait was alone when she was kidnapped?" she asked Dylan, though she was not looking at him. She kept staring at the sky, her eyes unblinking.

"I don't think she was alone," Lora called out from a few feet away. "From what I know, Grayson went to Greece somewhere around the same time that Kait did. That means that there is every possible chance they were together." She concluded. She got up and walked back towards her friends, feeling the exhaustion take over her body. "Stupid emotions," she muttered to herself.

"I think we all should call it a night," she told everyone and went over to Dylan. "Where are you putting your sleeping bag at?" She asked him, as she started to unfold her bag.

He sighed. "Isn't Grayson her sister?" He asked. He didn't know that she had been kidnapped. "Didn't know that she went missing too..." He mumbled.

He placed his sleeping bag right next to hers, and wrapped his arms around her. "I will take second watch," He mumbled. Then he yawned and fell asleep quickly, with his arms still around Lora tightly.

"I just don't have it in me to think about myself right now," Frodo retorted and settled in his sleeping bag. "I will do whatever it takes to find Kait, even if that means going to places alone." He knew Kait'd be mad at what he's saying but he also knew that she would understand. He sighed and told in a quieter voice, "Sorry, didn't mean to snap." He lay down and tried to go to sleep, but it wasn't happening. He looked up to the sky and his eyes wandered across the many stars present.

Strangely, Lena had fallen asleep early that night. It had been an all too obvious fact, even though none of them slept in the dorm, that if Lena slept early, something bad was bound to happen. For example, the last time she slept early, she woke up the next morning to see that she had literally trashed her dorm, and her dorm mates had wanted an explanation. Needless to say, she had said nothing.

Tonight was no different in one of those insomniatic nights. Even though the first couple of hours were dreamy and uneventful, the euphoria soon turned into despair.

The scene was quiet. Nothing could be seen. No sounds, no smells, no nothing. Just a little girl in the middle of nowhere, or so it seemed.

A middle-aged man walked towards her, and soon she began to feel hot. Finally, heat ignited from the walls. Flames were everywhere. Was she in hell right now? But she knew hell did not feel like this. It felt much worse.

"Revenge is sweet," rang a raspy voice. The blonde girl blinked before she started to step back. First, it was just one step. Then another step. She knew she was going to die.

And in the Greek night, there was a piercing scream.

It just felt like minutes when Lora heard someone whispering. She opened her and saw Anya trying to wake Dyl and say that it was his turn to take watch. As her friend walked to her sleeping bag, she murmured to her boyfriend, "Don't go," and held him tighter. But she knew he had to get up and let him reluctantly. Scared that she might get the nightmares, she got up as well. "I'll keep watch with you," she told him.

She suddenly turned and instinctively took out her wand as she heard Le's scream. She ran to the Uchitel and shook her. "Le, wake up!"

Dylan grumbled as he got up, not angry at Anya. Dylan never did like waking up early. He softly kissed Lor's forehead. "You don't have too, but I ain't going to argue." He told her. He watched Anya tumble around, uncomfortably. She was acting like he did when he first slept outside.

When he heard the piercing, shocking scream, he shot up with a wand out. Spells were ready to fly from his lips, then he realized it came from Lena. He ran over there along with Anya and Lor, and looked down worriedly. Lor and Anya seemed to have it under control, and he wasn't sure how to help. He knew how to comfort Lor, only her.

He sat down, and gently spoke, "It's just a dream, nothing real. It will be o.k." He hoped it helped, just a little.

After an eternity, Lena opened her eyes and found Dylan, Lora and Anya in her tent. Anya was rocking her and holding her tight, Dylan was saying things to her and Lora was shaking her awake. When was the last time had she received so much attention? Perhaps a long time ago, or maybe not. After all, everyone in Durmstrang had practically interrogated her after her breakup.

"W-Where am I?" she whispered, her eyes wide open with shock. She held onto Anya tightly, letting her best friend rock her, and looked up at Lora with slight confusion. "Stop shaking me," she whispered.

Frodo immediately jumped up on his feet as he heard Le's scream. He rushed over to her side and sighed in relief as he saw their friends surrounding her. He went over and gave her a tight hug. "Sorry for the delay," he smiled sheepishly and hugged her once more. "What was the nightmare about?" was his first question.

He saw Anya talk to Le and wondered if he should leave, but decided to stay in case she needed something.
