Family: Certh seemed to get along with his family quite well, all being pure bloods, and having the same types of dislikes and strengths. There had been some tension between him and his parents when he went off to Hogwarts, being by himself and all, but he liked it.
Personal: Certh was born in England to two pureblood parents. He had discovered his gifts of magic when he was about 7 or so and was told by his mother and father. On his 11th birthday, he received a letter from Hogwarts asking for his attendance at the school, his parents were thrilled and went out with him to buy all of his supplies. He had bought a very dark, black owl, named him Midnight for some reason. He wanted a broom, but didn't need one until he would get onto the quidditch team.
