Evie walked down the corridor, trying as hard as possible not to catch anybodies eye. She felt so insecure after that summer, and she wasn't in the mood to change anything about it. She already had to cover up her scars with the jumper that was a size too big. Luckily she found a compartment that was empty, taking it before anybody else could. She took a book out of her bag, reading it in silence, just hoping that no one would join her.

Re: Krwlng
Karma was sick and tired. Her stomach still hurt, and she was starting to think that the bruise in her theigh was never going to go away. Her eyes searched the compartments for somewhere to sit, hating all the happy greetings going around. She practically growled at a first year who tried to block her path, and stopped finally in front of a compartment.
Evie.
Not in the mood for conversation, Karma slipped into the compartment, shutting the door behind her and sitting in the seat across from evie. She had no trunk, and she had no uniform. She had nothing.
Nothing.
Some part of her wondered where he brother was, but he'd pop up eventually. He always did.
She leaned her head againt the window and sighed, closing her eyes against the cool glass.
"Hi Evie." She murmured.
Evie.

Re: Krwlng
Evie frowned a bit as someone stepped into the compartment, but then upon seeing who it was she went from angry, to physically sick. She remembered Karma being pissed at her biting Jet, and she wasn't ready for the comeback she would get after finding out what she did.
Strangely enough Karma didn't seem to realise about Jet yet. Well hopefully she wouldn't have to deal with any awkward situations now, and could vanish before it ever happened. "Oright?" Evie replied, not really glancing up at her fellow Slytherin.

Re: Krwlng
Karma was dozing when she heard the tapping on the window. Looking up, she noticed the ministry owl. Cursing, she pulled open the window, allowing the bird to swoop inside. It stuck out its leg, and she took the letter, blinking as it disappeared out the window again. Well, wasn't that something?
She looked down at the official looking Ministry parchment and frowned. What was this? Would there be a hoarde of aurors waiting for her in hogsmeade?
With a sigh, she wripped open the letter, breaking the seal. Straight from the Minister herself. Wasn't she special?
Her eyes skimmed through the letter, before she stopped and went back to the beginning and read it, line by agonizingly official line.
We're sorry for your loss...
Her eyes glazed over, and the letter slipped through her fingers. He flashed before her eyes, Jet, her older brother, smiling at her, rolling his eyes at her, telling her to behave...
Begging her to heal him.
The cause of death seems to have been blood loss...
Her eyes, almost fully black now, snapped to Evie.
"Tell me it wasn't you." She snarled, and with vampire speed she was standing, pinning the other girl with her eyes. "No, better yet... if it was you run." She closed her eyes. "You have ten seconds to get the hell put of my sight."

Re: Krwlng
Evie was reading her book, not looking up at all until there was a tapping on the window. An owl. Not just any owl, but a ministry owl. It was probably because she missed her hearing at the ministry was all Evie could think, but then Karma took the letter.
The letter was for Karma, and unless Karma had decided to go on a killing spree it would be an official letter of condolence, something that Evie was pretty familiar with.
She could just tell by the look on the other Slytherin girls face she was right, and when Karma's eyes poured into Evie she knew she had made the connection.
Evie thought about it first, whether she should explain herself, but there was no point, she flung open the compartment door, shutting it behind her, and ran down the corridor.

Re: Krwlng
Karma was flickering, the color of her eyes behind her eyelids undecided, light then dark then light.
"One." She whispered.
One corner of her mouth twirked upward, hearing the compartment door close.
"Two."
His blue eyes flashed behind her eyelids.
"Three."
Will you behave?!
"Four."
He grinned at her, winking as he spun aria around in his arms.
"Five."
We're family now. he whispered. Together Forever
"Six."
He was laughing, his arm around Zess.
"Seven."
Don't worry, sis, he still loves you.
"Eight."
A small teddy bear that sat on her bed every day.
"Nine."
You'll be fine without me.
Her eyes snapped open, completely black.
"Ten."
