Lesson one Fourth year

Tessa walked into the classroom with the help of Ariel. She was glad that Afonka was with her when she got her over the summer. Tessa was hoping that he was taking the class this year. Because that is all the talk about over the summer. She was glad that school had started up again. Summer was getting to her.

Ariel laid beside her while she was waiting for class to start.

Stella walked in to the classroom and looked around. It was her first time taking this class and she was hoping that it was a good one. She saw the girl she had seen in one of her earlier classes and sat down near her again. "Hello again." she said then she took out her wand and started rolling it between her fingers.

Ruby walked into the classroom. She smiled as she saw Tessa and Stella. Moving closer she sat down dropped her bag next to her and relaxed. "Hey Stell. Hey Tessa. How's it going?" She was excited to be in Transfiguration again. This was one of her favourite classes.

Ruby propped her feet on her desk and leaned back. Reaching down she pulled out a lolly and popped it in her mouth.

Tessa smiled a little bit. So this had to be Ruby twin sister. She was excited to meet her. " I am Tessa." Ariel was still sleeping beside of her. " Hey Ruby. How was your summer?" Tessa had a perfect one.

Humming softly to himself, Afonka headed into the classroom, waving at the three girls he found inside. Sitting down, he sighed happily, "I love this class."

Tessa smiled cause she was happy. It wasn't because she loved this class, or loved the professor. " Afonka! I am glad that you made it!" She was excited cause her boyfriend was taking this class with her.

"Of course I'd be here." Afonka grinned, leaning to hug Tessa, "I wouldn't miss this class for the world."

Ruby smiled and continued to eat her lolly "My summer was fine Tessa. How was your?" She leaned over and pulled out her sketch pad. Over the summer she took up drawing and now carried a drawing pad with her. "Hello Afonka, I believe Tessa called you."

Ruby shifted and crossed her legs and started sketching.

Tessa smiled. " My summer was awesome." She was grinning. " So how was yours?" She was still smiling. " Ruby what are you drawing?" Tessa was just ready for class to start.

Jaelyn groaned inwardly as she caught sight of the only fourth years who had arrived so far. Did they share all the same classes?

They weren't too bad to talk to, she supposed, not completely stupid and they could hold a half decent conversation- but Merlin, why did they insist on being so happy all the time?

Deciding to stop herself from losing her temper with them- which would inevitably happen eventually, she inclined her head and sat at the back of the classroom, tapping her quil on the table impatiently.

"And then I showed up," Afonka grinned, awestruck, "That is so cool!" Clapping his hands together, he began humming softly to himself, glancing at the sketchbook in Ruby's hands.

Noticing another Hitrost walk in, he waved at her.

Alexa walked into the classroom with her midnight blue robes billowing around the door. She went to the front of the class and put her coffee down on her desk. She went to her bored and wrote.



Alexa put the chalk down and turned around to face her class.

"Welcome back to Transfiguration." Alexa said with a smile.

"Today we will be going through your 4th year training in the Transfiguration Arts. If you all look at the bored, can anyone want to explain what W.O.M.B.A.T is?" Alexa asked her students.

Ruby continued to sketch. She looked up every once in a while to make sure no one else appeared. She listened to everyone talk and answered if they asked her a question. Seeing a new person walk in Ruby nodded to her.

Putting her sketch pad away she took her feet off her desk. Thinking about W.O.M.B.A.T. Ruby tried to remember where she read it.

"This year might seem to go fast for you. The next thing you'll know is that your in fifth year and studying for your O.W.L's. W.O.M.B.A.T will be your personal Bible." Alexa said as she went to her desk and picked up the books and gave one to everyone.

"This will help you with everything for Revision. W.O.M.B.A.T is also tests for your masters is certain subjects. I am telling you that you will go through a series of different tests if you want to do your masters after you finish Durmstrang." Alexa tolde her class.

Looking at the book as Professor Thorpe handed them out, Afonka picked one up, staring at it for a moment before looking up at the professor attentively.

Ruby hummed and flipped through the book Prof. Thorpe handed out. She was listening to what was being said but she was rather interested in the book.

Flipping to the first page Ruby began to read.

Jaelyn sat silently at the back of the class, watching Thorpe carefully. She taught Transfiguration now? Shrugging one shoulder, she leaned back into her chair and tapped her quill on the desk as she spoke.

Of course she knew what a W.O.M.B.A.T was- after all, her father had locked her into a room when she was 11 to memorise them, it was hard to forget- but Jaelyn enjoyed sizing up her competition in each class for the first lesson, so she awaited someone else's answer.

To no prevail, it seemed. The girl smirked- perhaps this year was going to be just too easy for her liking.

Picking up the book, Jaelyn flicked through the pages, skim reading a few paragraphs.

"Has anybody not taken the Animagus Potion yet. I know some of you have last year?" Alexa asked her class.

"Fine then, if anyone hasn't taken the potion yet we will do next lesson. Class is dismissed everyone. Your free to go." Alexa said to her class as she flicked her hand for the door to open.

Nodding at the Professor, he smiled. Standing up, Afonka leaned towards Tessa, "I'll meet you outside."

Grinning softly to himself as he picked up his books, he headed out of the classroom.
