Iva walked into the room and threw her book into her usual corner. History- her favourite subject. This was the class she barely paid attention in, and still somehow knew most of the information. It made her happy, proud.

Easing herself into the seat, she let herself have a rare smile.

As Paloma walked towards the classroom, she wondered why they didn't have History in Durmstrang. Honestly, sometimes she thought her school only cared about war.

She walked in the room and saw another girl already there. She gave her a smile as she sat down in a seat near the front and muttered a small 'hello'.

Somehow, the thought of sitting through History class made Damian's bad mood even worse. It really was a class he could do without. Honestly, how difficult was it to read a ruddy textbook for this information? It took less time, and one could easily choose to skip the boring parts.

Despite his foul mood, his expression lightened a bit at seeing Iva. He placed a kiss against the side of her head as he took the seat beside her. His gaze moved to the girl sitting near the front, recognizing her as one of the exchange students. At least they weren't the only ones condemned to dull coursework.

Irelia strode into the class, her robes almost flying around her feet as she looked coldly at the students assembled. "Today we will be looking at Gallert Grindelwald. I see that we have an exchange studnet from Durmstrang. Excellent. You can start us off than since you should know mmore about that particular Dark Lord than anyone else in this class. What have they taught you at your own school?" she asked,, her tone firm as she took a seat at her own desk.

Paloma heard another student enter the classroom but didn't turn to look, and, insetead, flipped through the pages of the book.

Their professor arrived and the girl looked up, thinking about what they'd learn about Grindelwald here at Hogwarts. When the professor told Paloma to start them off, she didn't know what to say, really. They'd heard so much about Grindelwald. . . where to start. . . ?

"Well, um, Grindelwald was born at around 1882," she started, "he went to Durmstrang and was very interested in Dark Magic. Expelled at the age of 16, he went to live later with his great-aunt at Godric's Hollow, where he met and befriended Albus Dumbledore through both their ambitions for glory and plans to bring out a new world order, where wizards would rule Muggles, and their passion for the Deathly Hallows."

"There was a three-way duel, one day, between Grindelwald, Dumbledore and Dumbledore's brother, which resulted in Grindelwald fleeing the country," she continued, "After that, Grindelwald delved into his research of the Deathly Hallows, took posession of the Elder Wand, and raised an army, spreading terror through several European countries. When his dark work became too much, he was finally confronted by Dumbledore, who bested him in a duel. He was put in the topmost cell of Nurmengard, the prison he built, where he spent the rest of his life until he was murdered by Voldemort."

"And I guess that's it," the Uchitel finished, not knowing if it was a good enough summary. She didn't want to leave too much out, but didn't want to give a whole lesson on it either. "There's a lot of details to it, though," she said.
