The Library

Gabrielle had her head bent over a book, scribbling notes down in her book. After only one day of studies and she already had some work to do. Gabrielle didn't like to procrastinate and wanted to get good marks this term. The library itself was quite impressive and Gabrielle had always been really fond of books.

Gilbert was looking for Gabrielle. He wanted to discuss his first day and see how hers went. The library was always a good place to look, seeing as Gil knew how much reading meant to her. And there she was, already doing her work. Bless her. He laughed inwardly. Her hair cascaded over her face, hiding her big, bright green eyes. If you looked closely enough you could see that they had specks of gold. She pushed the hair out of her face and once again, for the hundredth time Gilbert marveled over how beautiful she was. He wondered, with a twinge of something, jealousy perhaps, who would be the one to see her for who she was and who would catch her eye.
