Its all Greek to me Empty Its all Greek to me

Ninette slouched in the back of the room, her face a mask of disinterest. Iliad, what a load of boring crud. THough she supposed she had to give Hector some props. He had some moves did he not.

Also, she certianly did not mind that old Muggle.. moving picture thing she had seen once that had retaken the story. My oh my was that full of very ... attractive greeks.

She doubted they were actually like that.

Mythology had always been an interesting class. In fact, Ondrea had rather missed it third year. She read on her own, of course - she liked reading - but mythology was more stimulating than some other classes, such as History of Magic. That class was dull.

She made her way into the classroom, brown eyes sweeping its interior. It was just Ninette Fontaine. How charming. Ondrea was just going to sit on the other side of the room, then she changed her mind, midstep.

Closing the short distance to the blonde's seat at the back of the room, Ondrea wordlessly took the seat beside her, casually pulling her supplies from her bag and setting them on the desktop.

Ninette looked up as Ondrea Montgomery entered the room. She smiled slowly as the girl looked like she was going to sit away from her, but turned to sit beside her instead.

She didn't mind Montgomery. Not really. Sure in the past she had ruthlessly tormented the girl over her stutter, but.. behind that...

"Montgomery," she inclind her head in greeting. "Good to see you again. You ran out of a charming party the other week."

Rousseau was just piling onto the list of things. WHen she spoke to him again...

"Which reminds me. I never got the chance to ask, whatever happened to that delightful little stutter of yours?"

Ondrea shrugged one shoulder, wrinkling her nose. "Never been one for parties," she remarked, expression turning mildly amused. "Besides, I'm sure everyone had plenty of fun without me.

"My stutter?" she echoed, eyes narrowing minutely, though she wasn't really surprised. "I d-de-cided it w-as too m-uch wo-rk." Ondrea rolled her eyes, then smiled brightly, saying pleasantly, "But I see you've kept all your best personality flaws."

"Oh yes," Ninette responded with a droll little smile. "Rousseau certainly knows how to .... throw a party."

He also knew how to get himself into great trouble. She smirked slightly to herself as she thought about getting back at the boy.

She snorted at Ondrea's responce. That was what she like about the girl she had seen at the party - the girl behind the stutter. She had a backbone, and a brain to go with it.

She admired that - would not admit it, but did admire it.

"What can I say, I wouldn't want people thinking I've snapped now do I? They have to be able to recognize me."

Ondrea laughed. "Yes, yes, of course. How else would you be recognized?"

She was finding that interacting with others was far more enjoyable when she wasn't too timid to say what was on her mind. The girl had traded barbs often with her brother growing up, but she had never really done so with peers until after the attack... until after Owen was gone.

Ondrea nudged her book idly, wondering when class would start.

Dani supposed - more like, knew - she shouldn't come so late to a class her own father taught. Whatever happened to that summer where she was taught to be a proper lady? One of the lessons, she was sure, was to be punctual, which was why she was half thinking that she will die of embarrassment.

Thankfully, when she entered the room, her father was not there. There were two Angeliques that she was passing by, with another crowd on another side. One of them was Ninette, she was sure of that. The other was... Ondrea, or so she heard. Dani really never paid much heed to gossip; reading was such a more fruitful pastime for the Prideux.

"Morning," she greeted her peers lazily, sitting on a desk right at the front. She immediately pointed her feet to the left, her eyes scanning the room without blinking.

"Ladies," Pierre greeted his students as he came into the classroom, sweeping the room with his cold gaze. "There is no need for the two of you to sit at the back. Move close to I won't have to yell," he instructed the two girls from his own house as he sat his papers on the desk at the front of the room before turning around to face them. His eyes took in his own daughter in the first row. "This year we will be focusing on the Trojans that have been outlined in the Iliad. And today we will be starting with Hector. Who can tell me something about Hector?" he asked all three of his students.

Ninette raised her eyebrows at the professor. The man probably knew her mother, hell she had probably met him at points growing up but she didn't really care at the moment.

She liked the back of the room.

Rolling her eyes, she pushed her chair back and flopped in a desk about three rows up. It wasn't much closer, but hey - she followed the order to move close.

"Well, the actor that played him in that one Muggle film thing was highly worth gazing at," Ninette smirked, fanning herself slightly, "But I supose if you were looking for something more ... historical, I could add that he was a good fighter - the Trojans best... didn't do much for him agianst an angry Achilles - also worth gazing at in that Muggle thing I might add - but whatever."

Ondrea smiled politely by way of avoiding responding that the professor wouldn't have to yell, anyway, as they all had perfectly adequate hearing and the classroom was not all that large. Instead, she too relocated closer to the front of the room.

"Hector was heir apparent to the throne of Troy," Ondrea contributed. "Achilles killed him to avenge the death of his friend. According to the legend, the Greek gods kept Hector's body intact even though Achilles spent twelve days dragging it behind a chariot."
