Gimme More

Nik stormed out of the big top, the resounding sound of cheers on his heels. Quickly, he made his way across the grass, pushing past all of the men and woman who bowed to him with a quick greeting of "Ringmaster.". Where was she?

"Zabava!" He called into the night. "Zabava!"

Zabava was outside, getting a bit of fresh air. Even though she loved the circus with her life, sometimes she just needed a rest from the madness of it. Not that it would ever last from long, she realised as she heard her husband shouting for her.

She ran to the sound of the voice to be faced with her partner. "You called?" she asked raising her brows.

Nik, having caught sight of the woman, his wife, grinned from ear to ear. He pulled her against him,kissing her firmly on the lips. "Zabby." He breathed. "I didn't see you in there. I was worried." He murmured breathlessly. His bright blue eyes flashed around the darkness that surrounded them, pulling her even closer. "You weren't wandering around again, were you?"
