When you want something you can't see

Gabrielle was thinking. She was down by the lake, laying in the grass, her wavy brown hair fanning her face. The sun was making her auburn highlights stand out even more and made the specks of gold in her big green eyes glint. She was very beautiful, but not vain herself. In fact, she was, it seemed the only one who didn't think of herself as beautiful, not even pretty. She sighed and stared up at the bright blue sky and watched a single lazy cloud float along.

She knew that she didn't need a guy in her life, at this age, but yet she couldn't help herself. She wanted someone that was devilishly handsome, kind and sincere, but funny. Someone who loved her for her, every little quirk and flaw. She was caught up in creating this make believe guy and closed her eyes.
