Looking around the graveyard, Savannah's forehead creased slightly, pulling the cloak on her shoulders closer to her, staring at the falling snow. Snapping her gaze down to the graveyard itself, she hissed softly. She was back here, where - where her dad was. Where that crow had kidnapped her....
Why wasn't she leaving? Maybe deep down, she had this innate curiosity as to why of all places she was here. But either way, she was walking through the graveyard, stopping every once in awhile to look at the graves around her. Freezing in front of one, she swallowed, falling to her knees. "N- no." She muttered, beginning to feel tears prickling her eyes, "No. It's not - it can't be true. Not - not JJ......"
But there it was, staring back at her. Juliet Jessica Jones was dead. Stumbling up, she almost instantly tripped over another tombstone. Christopher's name stared back. Developing a lump in her throat, she resisted the urge to scream, staring around frantically. "No - no. This - this can't be happening."
But it is. The wind picking up, Savannah swallowed hard, opening and closing her mouth repeatedly. The more she looked around, the more people she knew dead. Rosie. Her Mother. Vincent. Ninette.....even Ross.
Trembling, Savannah sunk back into the snow, beginning to hyperventilate when a hand clasped down on her shoulder. Starting, she turned around, eyes widening at the group in front of her, "I - JJ. And Chris. And Rosie and Mummy and Daddy and Ross...."
Grinning as tears began to fall again, she reached to hug them, only then noticing their cold expressions.
"Savannah, you killed us." As all the voices spoke in unison, the grin on Savannah's face disappeared to be replaced with one of pure terror, "And you're going to pay for what you did."
Stepping forward, Rosie smirked evilly, opening her mouth to display her vampire teeth. "I think you'd better run, Savannah."
Not needing to be told twice, the girl's blue eyes widened before beginning to sprint as fast as she could down the hill. Pausing at the base. she frowned, staring at the funeral procession in front of her. Well, it wasn't much of a funeral procession, as there was only one person there other then the deceased, the minister. Sneaking closer, she listened to the eerie words.
"Today, we are gathered here to celebrate the life that belonged to Savannah Julie Lerran......"
Lips trembling, Savannah shook her head, "No. No. I am not dead."
"But you are." Turning around, Savannah stared at her father, still shaking his head.
"Daddy...." Biting her tongue, she watched him step near her, tilting her chin up.
"You're a terrible person, Anna." he muttered softly, glaring at her, "It's a disgrace to call you my daughter."
Breaking down, Savannah muttered again, "No. No. No......"
Covering her ears, she shook her head, collapsing onto the ground as she was encircled, "No." she chanted softly, "No." She was so busy muttering to herself that it took her a few moments to realize that she was being picked up. Trying to break free from Rosie's grasp, her breathing sped up as she began to panic, struggling. But it was futile, as there was no way a twelve year old could break free from a vampire.
"Please - JJ - Chris - Mum - please help me."
But all they did was stare at her, expressions one of barely contained glee. JJ even snuck in a little wave. She was dragged the rest of the way to the funeral procession, beginning to scream until hands clamped down on her mouth. As they neared the coffin, her blue eyes widened, wheels turning in her head. Her father pushed off the lid, the minister still droning on, smirking at her as Rosie tossed her into the coffin. Slamming it shut, their voices could be heard through the lid, "This is for your own good. This way everyone else is safe."
Hyperventilating, Savannah slammed her hands against the coffin, "Someone! Help me!" But no help came. No help would ever come.
