Personality:
Chance is a real friendly guy, and he doesn't let anything get him down. He's smart enough, but not always the brightest or most logical. He can be lazy, and often forgets to turn in assignments. He's always wanted to be on a Quidditch team, but he hates people who brag and he's afraid to turn into what he hates.
He hates to be indoors, and he sneaks away whenever he can, going for a swim or climbing trees.
He enjoys a challenge every now and then, especially when it comes to making friends. If someone doesn't like him, he does his best to change that.
He has slight anger problems though, and can blow up at the smallest things.
He has respect for authority, and tries to always do as they ask, but sometimes he has his rebellious days where he just does what he wants.

Overall history:
Chance was born to Evan and Anna Marie Monroe. He was spoiled as a child, always had whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. They traveled often, and he made friends easily.
When he was 7, his family's home caught fire and his Mother was trapped inside, and she died. Chance went into a depression for a few years, not talking to anyone and losing almost all of his friends. But then, he got his Hogwarts letter, and he was finally happy again.
He made new friends, and realized he was actually pretty talented, on a broomstick and with a wand. His Father is still in a deep depression, however, but he still works hard at his job as a Healer. He never wants Chance to stay at Hogwarts over the Holidays, as Chance is one of his only remaining family members.
