Personality:
As a teenager, Lae was a frivolous wild child. She used to go out in parties all the time, get drunk, and often stumble back to school not remembering what happened to her. A part of that is still left in her with her bubbly personality. She still has drinking problems, though she is now able to control herself.

Now a grown-up, Lae is a lot more tolerant of others. She is also a lot more careful, and protective of the ones she care about. However, she still has a tendency to be over dramatic.

Overall history:
Laetitia was born in a rundown Muggle hospital because her parents were trekking in the middle of France. Her birth was unexpected, because Anya O'Malley had any idea she was pregnant. Baby Lae came out of her mother's stomache 'crying like a madwoman', but Mrs. O'Malley grew to love her daughter immediately. The O'Malleys returned to the town of Marseille, where they resided.

The O'Malleys have always been close to the Prentiss family, and at the young age of five Lae started to grow fond of their youngest son, Leon Prentiss, who at the time had just graduated Durmstrang. He was once charming and had a lopsided grin no one could resist. Over time, they grew closer, and even though she wouldn't admit it at the time, she was falling for him.

Lae attended Durmstrang when she turned eleven, and she quickly fit in with her peers. She had been raised in a carefree environment, and this showed. She often broke rules and violated the dress code. She was a Slushatel, but often fashioned herself as a Hrabrost. However, she was an excellent student in terms of academics, acing most classes she had.

Leon married Emilie when Lae was fourteen, and she ended up being miserable because of it. She ended up being severely withdrawn and the reckless girl everyone knew so well before was gone. She started having a drinking problem and she only reverted back to her old self when she received her first kiss.

Lae graduated Durmstrang as a Prefect, and afterwards she decided to take a couple of years to explore the world and see what is out there. She returned to France, but she spent most of her time in Cannes instead of her hometown of Marseille. It was here, as a nineteen-year-old, she met her future husband, Maxime Bellamy. Lae married him when she turned twenty, an their first son, Luke, was born around two years after they first married.

Two years later came the birth of her daughter, Chara. It was a difficult pregnancy for Lae, when she was constantly hungry and constantly sick and she couldn't bear to move. However, Lae took an immediate liking to her when she was born, and spent more time with her than she did with Luke, making the elder boy feel jealous.

When Lae was thirty, she was confident enough to apply for the job of the Herbology Professor in Durmstrang, and she got it. She found teaching exciting. She was also glad that she could go back to Russia with her family.

During the Durmstrang sorting one year, Lae could remember the mention of one very special name: Charles Prentiss. He was sorted into Hitrost like his father. After two weeks of contemplation. she found the courage to meet him and to see what he was like. She found that he was very different from his father, and she developed a kindred spirit in him.

Last summer, Lae divorced her husband because of arguments about how they were treating their children. This ended up with them splitting their children up: Luke with his father, Chara with her other. However, they are still on reasonably good terms. During the same summer was the death of her former friend Leon Prentiss, which adds to her current period of joy.
