Alone and upset

Gabrielle stormed into the only room she could think that was empty. The trophy room. She slid down against one of the big, golden trophy, head in her hands. She didn't know why she was getting so worked up about. It wasn't a big deal, although it was with her. She wiped the stray tears going down her face.

J. J. was taking a short cut through the trophy room, she wanted to get the the main staircase as quickly as she could, when she noticed that she wasn't alone.

The girl stopped and tilted her head. The girl was younger, and obviously quite upset. Part of JJ just wanted to keep going - she had enough problems without adding other peoples, but she knew that she would hate herself in the morning if she didn't at least check if she could help.

"Excuse me," she called softly, "Do you... need something?"

Gabrielle looked up to see a girl who looked to be older than her. She wiped under her eyes and saw that there was mascara on her hands. Great. Now she looked like a raccoon. She didn't really feel like she needed to burden her with her sob story that wouldn't have been a sob story to anyone else.

"Oh," *Sniff* "I'm fine, thanks"

J. J. tilted her head at the obvious lie. She wasn't alright.... but then again J. J. knew something about not wanting to talk about things. She did not feel as if she should push it, if hte girl wanted to keep something private.

After all she was a complete stranger.

"If you're sure," she said with a shrug, "THough you should know, talking helps, sometimes."
