Aside from being spontaneous and hating boring people, Camille doesn't really believe in love, at least not for her. She goes out to parties, snogs a few boys and that's it. She knows when she has to be polite and sweet, and she's actually good at it, having taken the dreaded etiquette classes as a kid. But most of the time, she doesn't care what people think of her.

Fun and a bit crazy, she can be a total bitch if you don't make a good impression on her. Gets along well with most, even if she only trusts and genuinely likes a few, and can be cynical at times. With the few enemies she has, she's very sarcastic and pretty mean.

Overall history:

The Fortescue family was a pureblood family - descendants of the ex-headmaster of Hogwarts, Dexter Fortescue - when Anthony Fortescure, Florean Fortescue's younger brother, ran away to France to marry a witch he had met - a blood traitor - and that his parents did not approve of. Many years went by and, though Anthony's descendents were not hated or disowned, the rest of the family barely saw them and, when they did, chose to avoid them as much as possible. The Moreau's, on the other hand, are a very rich Muggle family, with a few wizards and witches here and there over the ages.

Claire Moreau met Louis Fortescue at Beauxbatons, where she was a Vallée and he was an Angélique and they started dating during 7th year. When he was 19 and she was 18 they had Dominic, and about 7 years after that, they had Camille.

Camille grew up with her older brother and her parents in a big house. Since both sides of the family are reasonably rich, she grew up getting what she wanted, and can be a bit spoiled sometimes. They've always had a very nice relationship, but, because they work all day, they let Camille do whatever she wants, and because of that, sometimes she feels they just don't care.

Her parents have an on-off relationship. They've been divorced twice, and though they always get back together when they fight or separate, Camille has lost faith in relationships. She enjoys her mother's side of the family more than her fathers, for they are closer and nicer to her than her long lost Fortescue relatives.

Camille and Dominic have a distant relationship. Because of the big gap between their ages, they didn't spend much time together before Dominic was sent to Beauxbatons. By the time Camille entered Beauxbatons, he was already finished and working at the Ministry. Unlike Camille, he's very strict and smart and likes following rules. Whenever they were home together during the summers, they ended up fighting because one would always complain about the other's behaviour.

The summer before her third year, Camille and one of her friends - Quinn Mikaelson - encountered a vampire at the Eiffel Tower. The vampire - Sorin - attacked them and bit Camille, and, though they were able to escape, ever since then, she's been scared of vampires.
