Thanks to the situation he's been in for the last five years, Axel has been forced to behave far older than is healthy for any normal ten-year-old. Before he was taken away, he was a talkative, friendly toddler, but that persona vanished the instant his family did. Axel now prefers being alone, doesn't trust anything that moves, and will only talk to you if he absolutely has to.

He has a deep-seated hatred for anything that he deems morally wrong, as his captors often took part in vices such as smoking, heavy drinking, and drug use, not to mention that they made a habit of physically and verbally abusing their captor. Axel is also very emotionally unstable, and it is not uncommon for him to violently lash out at people when he feels threatened.

Axel was born to a young, ambitious, pure blood couple on July 23, 2045. His parents were both wildly successful for people their age, with his father being the Highmaster of Durmstrang, as well as a member of the Brotherhood. His mother was a Professor at Beauxbatons.

When Axel was five, his father went away on a business trip, leaving him and his mother at home alone. The night before he returned, a group of men hired by the Mafia broke into their house and brutally murdered his mother Anastasia, forcing the boy to watch. They then took him to a secure compound in an undisclosed location, where he was guarded constantly.

He was never allowed to communicate with his captors, but they provided him food, clothing, a decently furnished room, and a lot of books to keep him (as well as the guards) occupied. As it was the only thing he was ever allowed to do, Axel reached a high-school reading level by the time he was nine, and devoted the rest of his spare time to exercise, so that he might one day be as brave and as strong a man as his father.
