Flying High

Ann was nervous, they were going to learn how to fly a horse and she was as nervous and scared as hell. Heights really wasn't the problem, falling was. She sighed and looked around marveling at the sight of the winged horses and sighed. She sat on the ground and yawned still a bit tired, having woken up earlier than expected. So here she was waiting for class to start.

Walking to the grounds, Tara couldn't help her excitement. Since she was younger she had rode horses and on a couple of occasions got to fly them. She could sense the winged beauties before she saw them. Confident as she was, most animals were scared of her because she was a more dominant creature than most of the students here. Times like these made her hate being a wolf. Seeing another girl there she recognized her as Antonette. They never really talked but she knew her. "Good morning," she smiled.

Ann blinked up sleepily. "Oh hello" she said a bit wistfully. She shook her head a and grinned at her "Excuse me" she said "I'm a bit forgetful what's your name?" she added grinning.

She then blinked as she glanced at the winged horses. They were acting a bit weird. She shrugged and laid back down on the grass, a yawn escaping her mouth "So shouldn't have woken up early" she grumbled

"I'm Taralynn, Taralynn Maurice. You may know my twin Adeline being in the same house and all," she replied smiling. Most people remembered her sister but Tara could careless.

When she saw the girl glance the horses, Tara tried not to squirm. She didn't want someone to put two and two together. Hearing the words that escaped Antonette's mouth Tara couldn't help but agree. "Sometimes I wish we didn't have to get up at this time."

Ann pouted as she looked at the sky. "Adeline? I don't know anyone named that" she said then shook her head "You know Tara not everyone in the house knows one another" she said a matter-of-factly.

She blinked and turned her head towards her then smiled. "Finally!" she exclaimed "Someone who's like me well i guess you're like me" she said chuckling.

"Touche, but I guess it's good you don't know her. She could be high maintenance sometimes," she said wryly. Adeline wasn't someone most people could handle she had alot of "Ooph" as her mother called it.

"I see why the adults may want us too and all but it's ridiculous. Sometimes you just don't wanna get up early let alone for lessons," she replied exasperated. "I love school but this one of things I dislike."
