Do i have a chance?

Alexander is standing watching the sunset waiting for her. He liked her for a while, and now was his chance. he was going to ask her to the ball. he hoped he wouldnt get shot down he was actually nervous.

Alex saw Alexander from her class there. Alex read the note that he gave Jamie and walked over to him. "Hey Alexander, I'm Alex from the lessons" Alex felt stupid. She then shook the thought and decided to say what she came here to say. "You like my friend Jamie Malfoy don't you" Alex looked at him curiously.

He smiles at the girl. "well i just needed a date for something..... why miss gilbert? would you by chance have a slight interest in me?" he bows "because i would not refuse you"

Alex just looked at him like he was crazy. "No I do not, I came here to ask you if you liked Jamie and was going to tell you not to be upset if she turns down your offer to what ever you wanted to talk about. Jamie is really tough to get threw" Alex warned him. "Besides my older brother would murder you" Alex added to him.

Alexander sighs. Alone still "you sure? im pretty tough to kill" he laughs at his own joke then coughs. "im dreadfully lonely... i need a date for the ball tonight i the great hall if youre interested"

Alex shook her head. "No thanks Alexander" Alex told him. She looked at the sight around her then back at him. "I really should go, but I will see you in class" Alex nodded to him and walked away and back to the castle.

Alex sighs. he had been shot down. he wasnt desperate but to have someone love him was all he wanted. "well....bye then...." he looked down and kicked at the dirt beneath his feet toying with his ring.
