The unexplored depths

There had always been an area in Durmstrang that Gavril had not had any luck finding - the Hidden Passage; he had heard rumors about it, stories from other students but he was never able to find it, until that day. He stumbled through a door, believing it to be an area he was looking for, but instead came upon the passage that would never open itself to him. He looked down it in awe, noting how long it must have gone on for, and walked for a minute or so down it, taking slow steps to take in the walls and ceiling, before leaning up against the wall to his right.

Further deep into the passage was one curled up Rose. She stared at the wall in front of her; hugging her legs close to her body. She was shivering withholding back some sobs. She had been thinking again.

She shook her head breaking her gaze from the wall and stood up. She looked at her watch and noticed it had been hours since she was in here crying all the time. She started to slowly go back the way she came but stopped in her tracks when she saw a person.

She frowned and silently walked closer wiping away the dried tears. When she was in arm's reach she poked him at his side gently "Who are you and what are you doing here?" she asked.

The sound of footsteps startled Gavril a tad; causing his body to 'jump' at the sight of a pretty girl who appeared upset, as could be seen by the tears that she had missed. The pressure applied to his ribcage sent a little shiver up his spine, which wasn't very obvious as his body remained still yet goosebumps appeared on his neck. "Oh - sorry. I'm Gavril, second year." He said, warmly; and looked down to her blonde locks. "I was jus -" Stopping, he looked down to her eyes. "Are you okay?"

Rose smiled slightly before dabbing away the last remaining traces of tears from her face. "I'm Rose Ann, third year" she said before a frown graced her features for a quick second then a forced smile was back on her lips. "Yes yes I am... What are you doing here?"
