Another Night Alone

Mia sat silently on one of the tall stools next to the counter. Her legs crossed, as she sat there. Looking down into her drink not really drinking it besides the ocasional sip of the contents. Her golden hair fell down her back. Wearing a Dark green kimono style top, and faded blue jeans with a pair of green flats. An old looking braclet on her wrist.

She seemed oblivious to the world around her. She abesentmindedly played with a ring that had long ago lost it's purpose. Her fingers comtinues there work though, feeling every line, bridge and pit in it. Her fingers and mind already long ago had learned everything about this ring.

She let out a small sigh shoving it in her pocket trying to forget about it. Forget about him. Forget about the world. Forget about the family who thought she was a failure.

She took a deep breath taking a drink of the amber liquid cherishing the burning heat it left in her. She couldn't stop herself from thinking how right they were about her being a failure. Because in her mind she couldn't help but agree. She set the cup down closing her eyes letting the bustling of the pub drift a bit further away from her even as she opened her eyes again.
