Back to where I never was.

Tiana sat on the floor, running her hands through her hair tiredly. She was alone, as far as she could see, and that was probably why she was so content. Her hand made its way to the circular burn mark on the back of her neck, and she winced when she touched it. It didn't hurt. Not the burn. But the memory did. She sighed.

"No-one ever said life was easy," Tiana mumbled, lying back and looking up at the ceiling. She brought her hand back around and ran it along the scar on the left side of her nose, laughing lightly. That was one of her best memories, how she obtained that scar.
