Spiraling Upwards

Bounding towards the fields, Savannah let out a little whoop. Today would be a good day. She just knew. Humming softly to herself, she glanced around the empty field, but showed no signs of being disturbed by the lack of people. So what if she was early? That was a good thing.

Stretching her hand out towards the brooms, she curled her fingers around the one that leaped into her hand. Sighing softly, she leaned against it, looking up at the clouds above.

Today's the day... Charlotte thought to herself as she walked towards the Flying field, looking up at the sky. She had decided that she would actually fly without feeling like a total pansy. There's nothing really to be afraid of... You're not going to fall.. She thought.

She spotted someone else in the distance, and after realizing who it was, a scowl spread across her face. She continued along, finally arriving at the heap of brooms on the ground. She bent over and picked one up, instead of summoning it, and gripped it tightly, not sure how exactly this was going to turn out.

Ethan came out to the field with his own broom he looke dat the the girls Hi and bye Ethan was very snobby.Ethan stood and waited for his friends to come.

Barely noticing the approach of the other students, Savannah bounced slightly, itching to get on her broom and just fly.

Biting her lip, she glanced around for a moment before nodding to herself. She didn't care if she lost house points or not; they were already so far behind. A few more wouldn't matter. Letting go of her broom and allowing it to hover a few inches off the ground, she jumped on it and seconds later, Savannah found herself off the ground and up in the air.

Nolan came on the field he was very mad that he couldnt make the team.Maybe next year he could make it as maybe Seeker.Nolan standed and looked at the girls and snickerd.You know Lerran good flying.

Storm walked to class, not even wanting to be there. She groaned inwardly when she saw people. Maybe you should just talk to someone, some part of her suggested. Storm almost shook her head at it.

"Nice day," she suggested feebly.

Charlotte ignored the Hufflepuff who joined her and Savannah on the field and rocked back and forth on her feet, already wanting this class to end. She watched as Savannah hopped on her broom, momentarily wishing she had the courage to do the same.

She turned as the new girl came to stand near her. When she spoke, Charlotte just nodded her head politely in the girls direction, not wanting to start a conversation.
