Jedi Mind-Trick

Karma lounged on the edge of the bathtub, in her uniform skirt and shirt, loking bored out of her mind. She'd just spent twenty minutes under the water, waiting for the urge to come up for air.

She'd given up.

Examining her nails, she let her mind wander. She thought of her plans, her research, circling ways to bring back Aria, to get revenge on Aspen, to somehow finally get rid of Djinn. To take over the world. To...

She cocked her head to the side, hearing the faintest of footsteps. She'd left the door unlocked, so it wouldn't need a password. She shrugged slightly, and waited.

Only two people she knew could walk that soft.

The smell had first hit him down on the first floor. Rhys had always had a better nose than most people, but this vampire stuff was getting ridiculous. His first day back, without his master, and he was already tracking down a human.

Despite his haste, his movements were calm and quiet. Even as a human, he was used to kills and it didn't bother him as much as it should have. Death was just death until you experienced it.

And a little nibble never hurt anyone.

The door was slightly ajar to the bathroom, so he didn't even bother with the password. With a slight push, he let the door creak- his prey trapped.

"Karma," he said, voice as dark as his black eyes. IT only took a second for the huffle to reach her, his hands holding hers down. "Don't move,"

Karma glanced up at the boy who used to be her... well, whatever he'd used to be, but wasn't anymore.

"You look hungry." She observed, cocking her head to the side. "And hello to you too." She moved the smallest bit, to try without success to free herself, and then smirked at him. "I don't know what you think you're doing, but I'd highly suggest against it." She pouted. "You aren't even who I hoped it was."

Rhys didn't respond to her movements or her words, but simply pressed his mouth against the back of her neck, searching for a large enough vein to puncture. His hands shook with need, dying to sink his teeth straight into her skin and never let go. Instead, he released one of her hands and pressed the other against the tub's rim.

Taking a deep, centering breath, he managed to whisper, "Stop me if I..." before punging his teeth into her neck with a single, clean motion.

"Rhys..."But then the most perculiar feeling stole over her, and she was shaking with pleasure as endorphins slammed into her system. She let out a low moan, and her head lulled back, giving him further access. Was this what it felt to be bitten? It was... Was....

She whimpered slightly, and slowly, surely, she began to lose her focus. What was... What was...

NO!

With a force she hadn't known she had, Karma was shoving Rhys away from her, and glaring at him with eyes fully dialated.

Then she was leaping forward, her veins acheing for new blood, more blood, and biting him.

His body shook with ephoria and fuel, his overactve senses dulling to a peaceful ignorance to the world outside. Karma's pitiful sounds only made it worse;her arms brought the witch closer instead of letting her break away.

Then, it was gone.

Her mouth was at his neck now, not that he cared. He simply rolled his neck back and let the girl feed, his own high still in full affect.

"It's not good to drink too much, loser," he commented, "You'll get sick,"
