Personality: Airiana seems to have a child-like innocence, akin to that of a younger child. She also cares deeply for Aragorn, constantly worries for him, and does not like being away from him. Airiana also seems tougher than she appears to be since she was able to kill a bear alone. Throughout her life, Vanille has shown to be caring, considerate, and at times somewhat stubborn. She mostly appears to be happy and cheerful when, truthfully, she is afraid. She usually tries to cope with her fears by closing her eyes and "losing herself in happier days."

When asked about her, Aragorn describes Airiana to be careless at times, naive, a crybaby, a scaredy-cat but also curious about everything. Her curiosity is evident by how she wants to explore her surroundings no matter what others might think. He also says that she laughs a lot and is kind to everyone. She also tends to remain positive in situations that others would deem hopeless, and tries to see the brighter side of things.

Overall history: Airiana grew up in a mixed neighborhood, where muggles grew up thinking that she was a god of sorts. They started a church to honor her existance but it was burned down by faithful christians on her tenth birthday. Even though she was worshipped by the odd muggles of her town, she never grew up spoiled. The wizards of her town gave her less attention and it made her realize that she really wasn't a god. So, she grew to ignore the publicity and became a happy-go-lucky child.

A couple years before she was adopted by Aragorn and his father, who knew her family well, she and her family were beginning to be targeted by religious figures that wouldn't stand for anyone but their god as the one and only. So, when Airiana was ten and she was visiting the church, her parents were getting ready to have a party for her birthday. However, the religiousfigures had a different idea for the little girl. They trapped her in the church and began to burn it down. Her parents were told by other magic folk that their daughter was stuck inside and they rushed to help her. They worked their magic to get inside but were finding it hard to get back out. Even with their wonderous magical abilities, they could not find their way out or further in. With flames licking at their skin, they fell to ground afer inhaling too much smoke.

Their daughter had trapped herself in a far corner of the chuch, where a sewer drain big enough for her to fit into was keeping her well protected from the flames that ate at her parents. She was burned badly on her right arm but was otherwise perfectly fine. When the fire had died, wizards and muggles alike came in to search for the family and when they found the burnt mother and father, the muggles expected Airiana to be dead too, so they left with tears in their eyes at their lost goddess. But the wizards knew better, looking for the girl they knew to be alive. Aragorn's father was the one to find her and he took her in immediately, being her father's best friend back at Hogwarts and her mother's exboyfriend as well.

And since then, she has lived and stayed with Aragorn and his father, taking their last name after hers.
